The Quest to New York {private}

it's morning. 3 words for ya, YOU WERE RIGHT! owwww..................... good thing typing is with my fingers not my teeth... :)

"Air-is. Is she a wind goddess?" I was so bad at greek mythology it wasn't even funny.

~They'll stop hurting, trust me.~

I shook my head. "She's the goddness of discord. You know the golden apple that caused a cat fight and a war," I said. Izzy gave me a wierd look.

~I got mine off four months ago!!! I ha had them sense fourth grade. And I have had metal infused sense third grade. It wasn't braces, but I forget what it was. Btw, every read the demigod files? The interview with the stolls and their golden egg prank or what ever. It is a modern version of this tale.

"Cat fight?" I mimicked. "The Goddesses fought over that apple and brought on the Trojan war. A war that was a very stupid one." I was giving a history lesson. Go figures.

That was a funny version. by the way I know the real story but Adonis doesn't.
"gotcha!" I said, but just so they would stop the history lesson.

"I remember reading about Eris when I was young. I always used to think she was a freaky witch or something," I giggled. "Sort of like my little sister... Always happy to cause trouble," I growled.

"A lot like Kat," I said and looked to my friend.

I smiled, and rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah." I said. "Always make comparisons to me."

"Kat makes trouble in a good way," I shrugged. But my sister did it to get me in trouble, I thought bitterly. "So...anybody have ideas where to head to?"

I shrugged. "I think we should just keep moving down this hall. I--" A loud flick made me stop. Flick? Oh, gods. Explostions being set off. "Hit the deck!" I screamed. I dropped to the floor.

"What?" I asked, but no one answered me. Bella helped me to the ground softly and quickly. Izzy heard something and I'm sure Bella did too. Something was wrong.

I threw myself on the floor. I heard something go off, like an explosion. Something whizzed above our heads. I looked up and saw Izzy get up and take out her two long knives. Two Cyclopes...great.

Bella was already up and helping Izzy with the fighting. I had to sit there useless. That was all the fault of that cyclopes. Why the hell am I the one sitting here wounded?

I was a bout to help them fight, when I remembered Kat. I went over to her. I saluted her. "Your bodygraud is now on duty."

I ran up to one of the monsters. I slashed and stabbed. He looked down at me and swatted me into the wall. I crumpled to the floor. I gritted my teeth and threw a small monster grendade at it. It attacked to the giant and blew it up, sending dust everywhere.

I pulled out both my sword and dagger. I groaned. Another Cyclopes!? God. I ran towards it's foot and tried slicing its ankle. I made a small cut but the Cyclopes didn't even flinch.

I stood up to assist the others. I doged the cylcop's first attack but when I tried to stab him he stepped to the side, and cut my leg. I saw the world spin around my in a flurry of color then saw everything black out. I saw a glimmer of light, then was able to manage conciousness. I moaned and tried to get up to fight but sank to my knees, unable to fight any longer.

he is not dead yet - just to let you know!

"My hero," I muttered.

I slashed at the Clyclopes with my knives both at the same time but barely making a scratch. He went for a kick at me and I dodged only by inches. They both swatted down on all of us making it impossible to take a breather and spot a way to attack. Damn they are smart for Cylcopes.

I wached as one of the monsters took down one of my friends. I gritted my teeth and charged. The monster saw it coming and slashed at me with it's weapon. I jumped back and stabbed it in the arm . It glared at me and swatted me again. Well, damn...

I started to get to my feet, or rtried to anyway. The walls were rumbleing again with every blow. There was no way i was going to take this sitting on my ass. I was fighting.

"Kat!" i yelled. "Stop!" She was going tiget urt worse, and while i was distracted, the cyclopes scooped me up in its hands holding me by the leg. My knives fell fell from my hads. I screamed.

I pushed Kat to the floor. "Stay down," I growled at her. I took out my dagger and stabbed the cyclopes that was holding Bella in the leg. It growled at me and dropped Bella. She landed on top of me. "Ow." The cyclopes stumbled back. I saw Izzy crept up from behind and stabbed it hard.

I cursed as Seth pushed me back. "That hurt moron!" I yelled to him.

I landrd on Seth as the Cyclopes dropped me. Drving hesd first into another guy isn't fun. I cursed and rolled off of him rubbjng my head. My earrings reapeard on my ears.

The cyclopes had it's full attention on me. I slashed and parried it's move. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a emposaui come out. It was going towards Kat. "Look out!" I screamed. The monster saw me looking at something and slammed me into the wall.

I looked at Kat and saw a monster sneaking up on her. I ran to her, weaponless. I pulled ont the monsters weapon. It smiled and let go. The sword went into my side. I fell and heard Izzy scream no.

I scrambled to my feet raising my sword partially. I was standing over Seth as Izzy rushed to his side. The cyclopes laughed at me. I didnt blame him i probably looked pathetic.

I moved to Kat's side. "You shouldn't be helping," I mumbled.
"I'll tell you when me staying out of a fight works out." she muttered. I didn't argue. I charged while she watched my back.

Tears fell down my face. My nightmare...true. Seth's side was soaked with blood. His eyelids were barley open. I looked at the two monster eho were laughing. I picked up the monster's sword that was fallen at Seth's side. I stood up. "I'll give you death. I am a daughter of Athena!" I cut the emposia in half, turning her to dust. I charged the cyclopes with or without help.

The other Cyclopes that had come from behind was pursewing on Seth. I did a three sixty and was now facing the beast standing over Srth hoping he was okay. My sword was raised weakly, but I had it up. I lashed a few times which nearly killed me with out the creature eve attacking. I was able to hold it off though while Bella helped Izzy with the other one. The others were fighting of the more Cyclopes that were coming. We couldn't win. Not with this many monsters and only seven of us.

I frowned. We wouldn't win. I looked at Seth who had fallen. No, we were going to win!. I slashed at one of the cyclopes and stabbed it deep. It turned todust onece it touched my sword. No more monsters came out. I stabbed the monster Kat was fighting and it turned to dust. The monsters backed away. "YEAH YOU BETTER RUN!"

I smiled. Bella could be so funny somtimes."at least the threat is over..." I said hopefully.
