Dani sat on the steps of the Apollo cabin. It was late, maybe to late to be outside. Camp looked so different in the moonlight. Everything shone and was beautiful. She hugged her knees to her chest and sighed. Her gash still ran across her stomach area. It hurt bad still, even if it happened yesterday. Yesterday... Dani still was mad at him. He got what he bargained for. Dani was easy to anger. | |

| I was walking back to my cabin and spotted another camper sitting outside of the Apollo cabin. My curiosity got the best of me and I jogged over to her. "Hi," I said sticking out my hand for her to shake. "I'm Rae." I smiled brightly at her. | |

Dani smiled. "Great, if you get bored tell me and I'll stop. Okay so yesterday morning I went over to help some people make a chariot. I came over and met the people. There was, Eli from the Apollo cabin, Cain son of the medicine god, Daniel son of Selene, Kylee from cabin 3, Austin son of some titan, and my boyfriend Thais. We started unpacking things and Austin had the nerve to ask where 'that stupid Apollo kid went'. He was talking about Eli, who might not be smart but it got my blood pumping. I asked what was wrong about us Apollo kids, and he started a list. I lost my temper and pointed my dagger at him. He laughed, considering he was way older. I told him to take it back, but no use. I attacked him and he gave me this." Dani said lifting her shirt to reveal the gash deep into her stomach. "I was knocked out for the rest. All I know is Austin is way gone." she said. | |

| I was coming back from the bathroom when I saw two girls talking. I couldn't get to my cabin without them seeing me so I hid in the bushes. I thought I might be albe to listen in.
