Bram could tell Kimmy was feeling a bit awkward. He on the other hand, felt completely as ease. He had only known this girl for about less than an hour, but it didn't feel like that. Bram didn't have that many close friends, but he felt like he should be able to trust Kimmy.
Bram threw Kimmy a smile, hoping that would get rid of some of the awkwardness. He wanted Kimmy to feel as relaxed as he was. "So how are you liking camp so far?" he asked.

No... Kimmy thought she didn't like him. Like was reserved for important things, such as her grandmother's cherry pie or her baby sister. Hearing Bram's voice made Kimmy perk up. "It seems nice, with a lot of nice people. I could get used to life here." she replied taking a sip of water.

Bram nodded understandingly. "Some of the training and fighting can be hard, but nothing too bad," he said.
Bram snorted a little when he suddenly remembered how he had been when he first came to camp. He had been deadly afraid of even touching a sword, let alone fighting with it. Now, his sword never left his side. "It's nice to actually... belong, isn't it?" Bram asked, his mind drifting off just a bit

sorry for the late reply! I've been real busy lately, but no worries i haven't quit rp-ing just yet ;)

Kimmy smiled and nodded. "Yes, but I did have other friends back at home. Everyeone loved me." she said bragging a little. It was true, Kimmy was one person everyone could get along with.

It's fine I'm busy as well.

Bram nodded, surprised. Most demigods had a hard time getting along with the mortals in their world. It just didn't work. But perhaps Kimmy was an exception.
"You're lucky, then," Bram told her. "I didn't get along.. at all. My foster parents always had to move around because of me."

Kimmy frowned in pity. "Aw! I'm sorry. You seem nice to me. This could be the start if a wonderful friendship!" she said smiling. In all truth Kimmy thought of Bram as a friend.

Bram flashed Kimmy another lopsided smile, but it was a bit bitter this time.
"Almost every demigod goes through it," he said dismissively. "Being socially awkward comes with being half-god I guess."

Bram grinned however, once Kimmy mentioned the start of their new friendship. "I'd really like that," Bram said to Kimmy, sounding very much sincere.

Kimmy smiled brightly. "Awesome." she said. Now I have at least one friend! Yay! she thought to herself. Kimmy sighed, a happy sigh. Can you do that? A happy sigh? she thought. "What do you fight with Bram? I mean I don't have a weapon unless it's magic..." Kimmy questioned .

"I have a sword," Bram said, answering Kimmy. He was distracted, by what, even he himself wasn't sure. Answering Kimmy's question didn't take that much concentration. Perhaps this lack of concentration was another one of his "ADHD" moments.
"What about you?" Bram asked, trying to turn his full attention back to their conversation.

Kimmy smiled and sighed. "Just my magic. Haven't gotten the time to go get myself one. I'm terribly lazy like that." she replied. Kimmy looked back at Bram, he seemed distracted. "What ya thinking bout?" Kimmy asked.
