Kale watched smiling as Daisy practically flop on the bed. He locked the main door and walked into the suite examining every detail. It was really nice. Much nicer than he expected. Walking into the bedroom, he smiled over at Daisy, thinking she was asleep. Kale got carefully on the bed, next to Daisy, but he just lay there and stared at the ceiling. After a few minutes of just sitting there, he whispered still oblivious that she was awake, "No matter what happens, Daisy, I swear Hunter won't come and try to take you away again."

Daisy smiled and rolled over to see Kale. "I know. He won't... at least I hope not. He doesn't have a reason anymore." she said smiling. Daisy sighed and looked up at the celeing and closed her eyes.

Kale was surprised when Daisy spoke, but he shouldve seen it coming. He smiled at what she said and closed his eyes for a moment. Opening them a moment later, Kale turned to Daisy, kissed her on the cheek and whispered, "Good night."

Daisy smiled and nodded. She closed her eyes again and fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning!
Daisy was up at sunrise, as she usually was. She had found some new clothes and had even gotten breakfast. Daisy saw it was seven in the morning, it was time to wake up Kale. "Kale ... wake up!" she whispered in his ear.

Kale slept nice and sound that night. By the time it was morning, Kale was in such a deep sleep and drool was hanging on the corner of his lip. When Daisy started to wake him up, his only response was a groan and a muffled voice because his head was buried in a pillow saying, "Another four hours, Cole!"

Daisy smiled and turned Kale over. "So not happening, we have to leave now!" she said shaking him. "I even got breakfast... not like I paid for it, but I got food! You should be so proud of me!" Daisy said with a smile.

Kale opened his left eye as he sat up. He smiled as he saw Daisy's face but realizing that she got food without paying for it, made him smile more. "Okay, okay, I'm up," he muttered sleepily. Kale smiled groggily at Daisy, not knowing about the drool on his face.

Daisy smiled and pointed at a mirror. "You might wanna shower before we hit the road." she said laughing. Daisy walked over and began to eat her breakfast, a small blueberry muffin.

Kale nodded as he jogged over to the shower, grabbing his backpack in the process. After finishing, Kale changes into a new pair of jeans, a sweatshirt, and some sneakers. The second he walked out of the bathroom a thought occured to him, and he started to laugh heartily. "Hey, Daisy," he called. "You do know that this hotel has continental breakfast, right?'

Daisy stood looking at Kale she rolled her green eyes. "Uh yeah... I knew that. I'm not one to take the easy way out." she said shrugging. "Let's go. I'll drive." Daisy said almost out the door.

Kale chuckled as he followed Daisy out. As he closed the door, he jogged down the hall and passed Daisy. Once he was in front of the elevator, he turned to her, smirking, and said, "Quickly now, Miss Slowpoke."

Daisy smiled and jumped into the elevator. "Whatever happened to Princess Daisy? How do I go from that to 'Miss Slowpoke?'" she asked laughing. Daisy pressed the button on the elevator and they went down. After the elevator opened she walked out and looked at the big lobby. "This place is so fancy, I can't get over it." Daisy said awestruck.

Kale walked next to her and held her hand. "Nothing but the best for Princess Daisy," he said chuckling. Kale led her over to the desk and checked them both out. "To the car?" he asked.

Daisy smiled and laughed. "Yes to the car." she said looking for where they had parked it. Daisy's eyes widened. She saw the truck... but it was... "Oh my gods! What happened to the truck!?" Daisy exclaimed rushing over to it. The truck had a long scrape of the hood and three tires were flat. "Huston we have a problem!" Daisy said looking back at Kale.

Kale's eyes widened for a second but quickly narrowed. There was one person that would do this. But he could at least be on guard more. Grabbing a cap from his backpack he put it on Daisy's head. "We should get another car. . . Or get on a bus," he told her.

Kale smiled. He started to walk over to the hotel's parking lot. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a nice red Ferrari. "Let's drive," he said smirking. He walked over to the driver's seat and picked on the doorlock until it popped open. After hot-wiring the car, he turned to Daisy. "Let's go."

"To camp!" he exclaimed dramatically. Kale laughed as he steered the car to the highway. Kale turned on the radio and 'Wake Me Up When September Ends played on the radio. “Summer has come to pass, the innocent can never last. Wake me up when September ends,” Kale sang absentmindedly.

Kale smiled. He was glad that they were almost home. Just a little bit more. Finally, they reached Half-Blood Hill. "We're home!" he exclaimed happily. He jumped out of the car and opened Daisy's door. "Welcome back, Princess," he said jokingly.

Daisy's mood got better the second she heard they were almost home. "Thanks Kale, are you going to keep the car? If you won't I will!" she said with a smile. Daisy got out of the Ferrari and spread out her arms. "Home..."Daisy whispered as if she didn't believe they were back.

Kale pretended to think for a moment. "I think I'll keep it," he said finally. "But you can use it whenever you like." Kale took Daisy's hand and walked them both up the hill. Finally they were next to Thalia's Pine. "We're back people! Who missed us?"
