Some hang out in the cabin! (OPEN)

I sat on my bunk just twirling my dagger in between my fingers. I had Millin on my stomach, just resting his head on my chest. I was petting him with me other free hand. I felt as my chest was still hurting from the accident in the woods. "Come on Devin. What can you do?" I mumbled to myself. Most of the children of Hermes went to go do something, I think. I sighed and quietly slipped down from mu bunk, trying not to wake Millin up.

I paced back and forth in the cabin, trying to do anything else. I had already ran more than five miles today, already ate, and already meditated in the woods. I latched my dagger back onto the belt on my calf and leaned down to the wooden floor. "Maybe you can get back in shape.." I muttered. For some weird reason I started to do push ups. "Oh my gosh.." I muttered..I fell on my stomach as I finished thirty full push ups. I sat down leaning my back against the wooden frame of the bunk and just sat there, not knowing what to do.

I walked into the Hermes Cabin to find a boy sitting on the ground. I walked over to him and sat down.
"Hey," I said, "I'm Amika Williams, daughter of Hermes. And you are?"

"Devin. I don't feel like talking right now, so can you kind of please, just don't talk to me right now. Thanks." I said as standing back up. I sighed and wiped the sweat off of me. I watched as Millin jumped off my bed and came trotting to me. "Hey there boy, did you like your sleep?" I asked as petting him. I walked over to my chest and grabbed a spare Nike shirt. I slowly took off the shirt I was wearing and slipped the spare one on. I liked the peace, I thought. "And it better stay that way..." I muttered to myself as I closed my chest.

Hillary walked over to the cabins. As she looked them all up and down, she saw one that looked homey. One that seemed to suit her well. Cabin 11. She walked inside and walked through the door. She looked around "Hello!" She had on her 'Im up to something' look. She put down Buck's cage and let her luggage drop then waved at the campers.

I cocked my head as I watched yet another camp enter the cabin. "Oh my gosh.." I mumbled to myself. "Well, better give it a try.." I said with a sigh as straightening my Nike shirt. "Well, pleasure to meet you two! I'm Devin Millsvil, son of Hermes. This here is Millin, my giant Golden Lab." I said as walking to them. I watched as Millin trotted behind me to take a look at the two newcomers. "Well, make yourself at home. Just pick any bunk that isn't taken and now it's yours." I said as waving an arm around the cabin.

Hillary looked at Devin and frowned "You dont seem to pleased..." She forced a smiled, silently reminding herself about what she has been told before she entered the camp "Im Hillary Darrius, said to be a daughter of Hermes" She grabbed her things and picked the closest empty bunk to the door, placing the cage on the bed and the bag under it. She walked over to Devin and smiled, holding out her hand "Nice to meet you. I guess your my older half brother then."

"Yeah, your right about that.." I muttered to my half-sister. "Well, if your younger than sixteen then your my little sister then.."I said as rolling my eyes a bit. I watched and leaned back against my wooden bed frame as my little half-sister chose a bunk. "Like camp so far?" I asked as petting Millin on the tip of his head. I watched as he set down a little blue tennis ball at my feet. "Really?" I muttered. He nipped my leg and started to wag his tail. "Fine.." I muttered. I bent down and threw the ball on the otherside of the cabin. I watched as Millin ran over there like a cheetah and came back wagging his tail with the tennis ball in his mouth.

Hillary noded "Yeah, Im under 16. And camp is fine, I guess. Big. Plently of room to run!" She smiled at the animal "Cute dog" She took out her rock and pet him "His name is Buck. Because he is green..Like money" She laughed at herself. "Well, I spend most of my time out and about doing 'things' so I dont have time for a real pet. I could pay for one though..." She gave him that smirk and gleam, raising her eyebrows.

"Well, glad you like camp then.." I said with a smile. I watched as Millin layed the tennis ball in my palm. I smiled and slightly laughed, then threw the ball once again to the direction of the back of the cabin. "Made any friends yet?" I asked as raising an eyebrow. I looked over to my other sister who just joined. "Hey Ami! You alright?" I called out, but looked at Millin as he ran once again to the tennis ball.

Hillary shook her head "Friends? Naw. Not yet anyway." She looked at the tennis ball and flinched as it bounced. "Do you run?" She looked up at him, curious. "Whoever said you cant run from your problems is wrong" She smiled and took out her lacrosse ball, throwing it up and catching it multiple times.

"Are you insulting me? Everyone in the Hermes cabin loves to run. We're sons and daughters of the god of messaging and all. Heck yeah I love to run. I run like more than eight miles everyday.." I said as twirling my dagger in my hands now. I threw the dagger at the wooden frame of my bed and just kept repeating that over and over. "You got any weapons?" I asked as gripping my dagger.

Hillary puts hands up in defense and starts babbling "I uh..sorry I didn't..uhm..well..I..sorry! Please don't hurt me" She squeezes her eyes shut, afraid of what would happen next.

"What the heck are you talking about?" I asked as throwing Millin's tennis ball once again. I rolled my eyes and he showed off and caught the ball right away in his mouth. "I'm not going to hurt you. Just telling ya that we Hermes children love to run.." I said as throwing my dagger once again. I watched as a deep hole started to make out in the wood. "So, you didn't answer my question. You got any weapons?" I asked as raising an eyebrow.

Hillary noded "Oh..ok." She stared at the dagger. "Weapon? Me? In my house?!" She snorts "Never. Not allowed" She shrugs "Although I'm not aloud to steal either." She blinks and looks at her ball then standing up and pulling a lacrosse stick from her bag. She throws the ball and catches it, sighing

"So, Dad never gave you a weapon?" I asked as raising my eyebrow even higher. "Wow, didn't see that coming.." I muttered as throwing my dagger at the deep whole in my bed frame. "What things are you good at?" I asked not looking at her. I then latched my dagger back onto the belt on my calf, then grabbed my spear. "I think I should hook you up with some weapons now, but later I guess." I said as looking at my spear.

Hillary stopped playing and stared at him "Was I supposed to meet him or something?" She sat down and shrugged "I'm good at running, basketball, lacrosse, stealing, pulling pranks, gymnastics, lying, cheating and things of that nature" She took a deep breath and smiled "What are you good at?" She tilted her head

"Holy crap Hill." I said as she said all those things at one. I smiled and raised my eyebrow once again. I raised my hand to my chin and started to pinch it. " I'm good at.. let's see.. Basketball, running, climbing, stealing, pranks, swimming, jumping, throwing, kicking, singing, gymnastics, and a couple of more." I said with a smile. I started to rub the back of my head, hoping that I wasn't bragging or anything.

Hillary noded "Cool. I love martial arts." She smiled and laughed "I feel like we are about to compete or something." She shrugged "Oh well I guess this is what having an older brother is like, eh?" She walke over and invited herself to sit on his bed. She was the little Sister, and it was her job to be annoying. She sat across from him and smirked

"Nah, I don't like to compete with my siblings." I said as brushing something off my spear. "Well, I got several little siblings. It ain't fun, but I'm used to it. Been here at camp for about seven full summers about. Well, counting that I just turned sixteen a few weeks ago." I muttered. I watched as my little sister sat across from me. "So, that your bed?" I asked with a grin of my face. "Better be careful. Millin likes to sleep next to me." I said slightly laughing.

Hillary raised an eyebrow "How many estimated siblings do I have?!" She smirked "And I dont really sleep. I'll sit on a bed and daydream or plan. And I have no limits with my pranks so beware" She looked out the window "Hey when you do go running?" She stood up and went to her bag, setting out her jogging outfit. A green camio, sneakers, and a pair of black silky material shorts. "I'm up for a run anytime."

"Eh, I don't really know." I said as shrugging. I watched as my sister smirked at me once again. "Don't play pranks on me. If you do, you'll totally regret it. I got a friend who will destroy you if you do." I said with a pinch of annoyance in my voice. "Even if you are a girl.." I muttered knowing that no one could hear me. I watched as she walked over to her chest and grabbed a few clothes out. "I run at four o'clock in the morning, then take an early swim with my girlfriend, then hang out with some friends, then eat, train, meditate in the woods, then go run some more, eat, hang out more with friends, then take a late jog, then lastly, take my shift guarding the camp." I said as readjusting my seat on the latter.

Hillary glares "I asked when you ran, not your entire agenda." She shrugged "But whatever." She sat on her bunk and took out a notebook and a pen, purposely speaking loudly what she was writing "Devin is NOT the big bro of my dreams. He is rather nasty and threatened me my first day at camp." She threw it on her bed and muttered a curse or two under her breath.

"Heads up Hillary. I have not been having a good past two weeks. I got so much on my mind right now, so that's why my attitude is like this. I'm not this freaking kind of person. Really." I said as walking back to my bunk. "I'm sorry. But just wait a couple of weeks, then you'll have the big brother you imagined." I softly said with hurt in my eyes.

Hillary frowned and stared at the floor "Sorry.." She mumbled as a tear fell. She walke over to him and gave him a hug "Ya know I didn't really mean what I said befre, don't you? It was acting..." She looked up at him innocently

I was quite taken back when my little half-sister just gave me a hug. I had a blank look on my face. "Uh.." I muttered. I slowly wrapped my arms around her and gave her a hug. Then my head jerked back as she said it was acting. "Are you serious?" I asked as backing away with a look on my face. "Well, your pretty good then." I said with a smile.
