I sat next to the lake. I was on a log with my feet dipped into the lake. I came here to clear my head. It was around 9 p.m. and the moon was full and bright. It's reflection shown on the lake like a photo. I smiled as I threw a pebble into the lake, watching the ripples grow and disappear. I sighed. I've been stressed out lately. I rested my head in my hands and closed my eyes.

With the same anger I always carried with me, and my familiar frown stuck on my face, I tapped the girl in my way's shoulder. "You're going to need to move," I groaned, extremely angry today. Normally my anger was an act, but today, I had been pushed too far. My two halves of my bow where in my hand, and Clarisse's meaty fingerprints were all over them.

I looked at this kid. Who did he think he was? Zeus himself? "You could say it a little more politely." I told him. There was no way I was going to take attitude from a kid that was younger than me. I looked down at his hands and saw a broken bow. I frowned. "Who broke your bow?"

Scowling, I sighed. This girl wasn't going to move, so I might as well talk to her. As I sat down, I put my broken bow in my lap. "This Ares girl. We're kind of mortal enemies. Wait, mortal isn't the right word. I mean half-mortal enemies." I twisted my face into a confused look, then shook my head. "I should have seen it coming, though, I guess."

"Oh, I see." I said listening. "Was it Clarisse? She's in Ares." I asked. "She shouldn't of broken your bow. There was absolutely no point to it." I said looking at the bow. "Can I see it?" I asked looking at him. He seemed pretty upset about it. "Maybe I can fix it."
