First day on the Job[bluemoon/Open]

Exiting out of the big house, John decided it was best to learn at least a face before doing anything. Looking at the field before him, he saw the possibilities of many different aspects of the land. Sitting on the deck for a moment he watched as campers went about their daily schedule and expected none of them to come near him or what not. Expecting nothing from the other kids, John took note of the age differences. Amazed he watched as there were older kids who weren't even kids anymore while others were literally just kids.

Shaking his head he looked at the order of the cabins. "Well... I would've done it differently but.." He stopped himself as he looked over the cabins and took note of each one. Being one for history he tried guessing the Gods and Goddesses that the cabins represent. Guessing the first few really quickly as the numbers went the harder it got. "And I am supposed to be in Cabin 6..." He said reading the paper that he had received when he entered the camp.

"Mmm I wasn't told who... and I can't really tell the order of the cabins that much either so..." He talked to himself thinking as he decided it was best to get someone to help to make sure something doesn't happen the first few steps. Allergies suck... They really do when you go to a camp... and this is my first camp too... John thought to himself sighing with an elbow on his knee thinking about who his mother was. Thinking about it knowing that he looked like his father a bit, he wasn't adopted by him so his mother had to be the goddess in the situation.

Realizing it now he was stupid as he was even told who his mother was, "Wow John... getting dumber or what?" He said outloud with a chuckle. Getting used to this place was going to be fun but he missed his home with his little sister. "I wish I could've brought here... would make things fun." Grinning a bit, John thought about what he could do if he had his sister with him.

Looking up from where he sat, John stood and stretched his hand out to shake with Justus, "Name is John. Honestly I am trying to... well to put it simply trying to look whats there to do before I try to find my cabin." Replying to Justus, John scrambled for a moment before holding the paper out that he was given. On it said a few little details that were addressed to John:

Cabin assigned: Cabin 6
Time at Camp: Year Round
Note: Try not to miss dinner.

It was simple enough for anyone to understand that he was going to be here a while. "Heh... the grass looks soft..." He said out loud without thinking. He was right though for the fact of the green grass did look really rejuvenating right now.

"Oh.. sorry bout that... allergies make it where I want to do something but can't." John said giving a gesture to the grass. Living with this allergy for 14 years now, he didn't really expect much of a reaction other than a laugh and such. It's one of the things that you get used to. "Care to show me around as well Justus?" He asked looking around.

Sighing as he did this, he probably already looked like a freak. Great, first day and I probably am going to be a laughing stock... He thought to himself looking at Justus some more, he was a little older than he was, that was for sure. The curious fact was that he didn't take note of the paper that he showed him.

John questioned for a moment which he wanted so he simply brought a reply of a few words, "General layabout and places of interest." With that he noted how Justus was really easy going. That was when he heard a more feminine voice approach them. Turning to see Dani, he took not she was about his age and nodded, "Just got here a hour ago. Name is John by the way."
