I watched as Fang flew out of the mess hall and then took another bite of my sandwich. "Hehh, Nice Dragon. I'm better with Mech Pets like Lacerta." Lacerta crawls on table. So true, Carter wanted a lizard named Lacerta, but his mother said 'No'. That's where I come in. In other words, he bulit me to replace the idea of a actual lizard. Lacerta explained. I finished my sandwich. "What he said."I grabbed my trash and threw it away. I grabbed a water bottle and Lacerta and headed out.

I watched as both of my little half-brothers followed me to the Forge. I started to unlatch my spear and set it aside to my armor and belt. I cupped my hands together. "Alright! What would you guys like to make?" I yelled. I looked over to the iron table. I noticed there were a few weapons with notes on them. "Well, actually now. Carter, why don't you show Tyler around. I gotta fix these weapons. I'll be done in about an hour and half I bet. Just yell my name if you need help." I said walking to the weapons on the table.

"Yeah sure, Come on. This is the forge." I said showing him this big building with scrap and tables and furnaces and tools. "Yeah, since were our Dad's kids, the other campers come to us to make or fix a weapon or stuff like that." I walked over to a table and put my water bottle on it. "Now there aren't really a specific table that we go to to use as our own table, but I always used this table." I walked him over to the table across from us. "Now, how about you build something, like your own weapon."

I was fixing my broken shield in the forge,then I saw my brother come in.

I was working on some bronze sword from the Athena cabin when I heard a bang to my right. I walked over to the table where my younger brothers were and I found also another one of my bothers. "Oh, hey Mareck. Didn't see you in here." I said with a smile. I took a look at his shield. "What did you do to this shield!" I asked.

"Oh shut up man. I hate it when people wine." I said rolling my eyes. I sighed. "Alright, maybe your not like us usual Hephaestus kids, but you can be great at other things. Like some of us are ONLY good at black-smith and metal working. You could be good at weaponry." I said. I took the shield and yelled, "I'm fixing your shield!" I walked back over to my post and started to work on it.

I looked at my brother. "Hey don't worry. Some Hephaestus kids are only good at making one thing. It took me a while to figure out that I was good at making and fixing crossbows. Will find out what you're good at. Trust me."

A few minutes later I was done with the shield. I walked back over to my brother. "Here you go Mareck." I said handing him back his shield. "Just to let you know, I added something better in it." I said with a smile. He looked at me with suspicion. I smiled. " I added a bit of bronze so it won't break that easily. The last one, could brake anytime." I said. I heard that he wanted to make a shield, so I suggested,"You want me to help you make a sword? I'm pretty good making bows, spears, shields, knives, and swords." I has a big smile on my face.

"Alright.. I'll be over here if you need anything." I said walking away. I walked over to my post and started to work on another set of swords from the Ares cabin. Everything was so loud that I couldn't hear anything. The bashing of the metals, the fire cracking. I just started to ignore it all. I was working, focusing, until someone slapped my on the back. I rolled my eyes and turned around yelling "What!" I found that it was Hunter Blake. I had hurt in my eyes, "Sorry, didn't know it was you." I said. "That's alright." He said. I stopped bashing on the bronze sword and turned all my attention at him. "So, what are you doing in here?" I asked. He looked around and said with a smile. "Oh, I'm here to do some work. Remember Cal, I'm pretty good myself with black-smith." He said with a smile. "Right.." I muttered. I watched him walk off somewhere in the Forge and I returned back to my work.

"Hunter, no offense, but I thought Apollo kids were only good singing, healing, and art" I sheathed my sword and went to my table. I started putting things together and the scrap became a bronze crossbow. It had a two cuplings that wrap aruond the wrist and arm, a base that stretched from the hand to arm with a notch on the side that when turned a little clip pops up and pulls the string back until you here a click, a bow made completely out of bronze, a switch that click when the string is pulled back and release the arrow when pushed and a scope with 110% Accuracy. On the side, I engrave in Greek 'Charity Tepper'. "Next time I see her, I'll give it to her." I mumbled

I walked over to the stone table. I saw Carter, Cals-younger half-brother. "Yeah, but I'm pretty good with black-smith working too I would say. I made these arrows." I said showing him my steel arrows in my quiver. I walked over to the post where Cal was at. I took his hammer and walked away doing something on the iron table. I grabbed one of my arrows out of my quiver and hammered the point to make the even sharper. A few minutes I was done with all 2 dozen of them. I walked over by Cal and asked if he needed help with anything. He gave me a sword and I left him in his peace.

I got my pen and clicked it turning it into a hammer. "Hey Hunter, wanna use my hammer?" I tossed him Smasher. "That's Smasher my hammer. You can use it to on the sword. Just give back to me when you're done."

(Is it just me, or does Demetri have a hammer)

I walked over to the fire and a hammer hit my elbow. I looked up to find Carter throwing my his hammer. I smiled and yelled over the fire-cracking "Thanks!" And I turned all my attention back to the sword in my hands. I used the heavy hammer to pound it to be straight. After a few hard pounding on the sword, it was once again straight and sharp. I smiled and walked back to Cal. I looked at my wrist watch and noticed that it was about five till three. I called out," I'm going to be going now! It was nice working with you guys! Thanks for letting me use your hammer Carter!" Then I walked out.

I got smasher back, turned it back into a pen, and put it back into my pocket. "It's almost 3:00 and I am really bored so I am gonna play Angry Birds." I went over to my bunk and started playing Angry Birds on my phone.

I finally finished over 3/4 of the swords that were on the stone table at my post. I checked my wrist watch to find it about twenty after three. I wiped the sweat off my face and grabbed my spear. I took off my shirt and called out, "Hey! I'm heading to the lake to relax a little! If anyone need me then you know where I am!" I slowly walked out of the Forge and walked towards the lake.

I felt something brake inside me as I walked to the lake. I stopped and thought for a second. Confused of what was happening I walked back to the Forge not knowing the reason why. When I came into the Forge I found on the stone table, a broken sword. "What the heck people!" I yelled throughout the Forge. I breathed in and out, calming myself down.. "Alright, I'll just make a new one.." I whispered to myself. I threw my shirt and spear at my post and walked over to the broken sword. "This was going to be for Kaitlyn.." I whispered.
