I lean against a tree, I try to calm down , I want to go back and talk to him, but I didn't want to be turned down again. I notice a black shape out of the corner of my eye. I tense and look frantically for my dagger

I grimace, I’d been careless this morning and I had accidentally left my dagger in my cabin. I glance at the dark moving shape again, It was a hellhound, I try not to panic, I had to fight this thing because if I ran it would catch me , I wasn’t going to yell for help because I wasn’t a coward. I quickly hide behind the large trunk of a thick Oak tree. I try not to make a sound. I cringe I probably shouldn’t have put that Chanel perfume on this morning, it could probably pick up my scent.
