| Alex was looking around the store after he left the Aphrodite cabin. He needed to get some fresh air, and some time away from his sister. He was just looking for a nice shirt, when he realized, for some odd reason, there was no shirts in his size. "What do I do now>" Alex asked himself quietly. He thought. Find a shirt for Kitty? No, she doesn't get everything. Buy pants? Nah, he already had plenty of pants. He was in a dilemma. He needed advice. He walked up to the pay counter. "Excuse me, but there aren't any shirts in size 8. Can you check in the back?" He asked. Alex never noticed this when he walked up to the counter, but the guy was asleep. He didn't want to wake him up. That would be just plain mean. He sat in a chair, thinking on what to do. :| | |

| Valerie hummed to herself as she entered the camp store. Her keen eyes instantly spotted the boy at the counter. He looked young, maybe around eight? Either way the guy at the counter was asleep. And this wasn't the first time Valerie had spotted him slacking off. Well, Valerie liked to be welcoming so she walked up to the boy. "Hi, do you need help? she asked. She thought for a moment and then added, "My name's Valerie." | |

| Valerie frowned. She had thought the store had all sizes of t-shirts. "There should be some in your size. Let me go see." Valerie said. She went to the t-shirt racks and rummages around be core she realized she didn't know what Alex's size was. "What's your size?" she called to Alex. | |

| "Size 8," I said from the counter. Maybe I didn't check throughly enough. Maybe there was a shirt my size right there. I couldn't say that, though. I didn't want to make Valerie. mad. I waited for her to find a shirt, or to not find one. | |

| "Size 8, size 8." Valerie muttered to herself. She looked through the t-shirts, searching for a size 8. Eventually she found one. It was hidden away between two other sizes and was the only one there. No wonder Alex couldn't find it. "Here you go!" she said brightly, walking back over to Alex and handing him the shirt. | |

| "Thanks Val," I said. It had the words "Camp Half-Blood" with a pegasus on the front. On the back, it had the names of all the campers. I looked around for names, and surprisingly, Kitty's and my name was there. I guess that's magic too, I thought. I dropped 2 drachmas on the counter and left the store/ | |
