Zin walked up into the cabin, feeling bored, as usual. The entrance was normal, walking into the door. But what surprised her was the walls. All over the place, there were posters and names written. Wondering why, she went near to one poster and found out that there was an election happening. She smirked to herself. Elections wasn't her thing. She would be the one to vote the underdog though. Not because she felt pity, but because somehow she knew that the more people promise, the more people will vote for them. But somehow those promises were empty and lies. 'If I will run, I promise to never promise anything I couldn't handle.'she thought and went to the farthest bunk in the cabin.

"Zin! Zin!"came a bubbly voice from her side. Zin turned and saw Raphaela, the Tanathos girl. "Hey Raph. I see your excited as ever. What yah did? Placed Pegasus water on Mr. D's drink again?" she asked, snickering a little. The girl shook her head, and her innocent eyes had a mix of mischeif. Zin reminded herself to keep Raph away from cabin 11 from then on."Even better! I signed you up for cabin leader!" she announced, hopping because of her excitement. "YOU DID WHAT?" Zin asked, mouth hanging open. Raphaela grinned and patted Zin's head. "Thought you're the best candidate."she said. "Don't lose without a fight kay?"she said and skipped to the door, leaving Zin on her own.

'I can't do this.' she thought. The idea of letting people's hopes up and crushing it seems evil. Afterall, that's what politicians do. But something in Raphaela's words caught her attention. Don't lose without a fight. Zin couldn't resist a good challenge. Afterall, if she could survive a war, surviving an election won't be too hard. Her face was twisted with disbelif and anticipation. What if this was all a hoax by that girl? But surely, she got Zin's attention. If even Raphaela could think that she is worthy, then she is. Zin stood up, and with a fighting spirit, she began to smile at people passing by. Maybe they'll think she is crazy, but she needs to look her best in front of the voters.

Raphaela got started way ahead of Zin. She had posters already posted on the walls. 'Zin will win. I'm sure.' she thought. Zin was the perfect candidate. With the brave fighting spirit and the experience, she is the perfect one to be cabin leader.

I disregarded knocking on the Hera cabin door. I haven't seen Zin ever since she was injured in the battlefield. I wanted to make sure she was okay. Hopefully she was, she was probably the closest person to being a little sister to me. I mean, sure, I considered my half-brothers and sisters like family to me and all, because they basically were. It's just that Zin and I seemed to have a lot more in common, which is pretty odd. Her dad basically created everything, and my dad just rules it all, basically.

Once I walked into the Hera cabin, I was bombarded with a bunch of fliers that asked for votes in the cabin leader elections. I guess everyone was siked about them, I don't see why, though. Elections weren't really my thing, I just trained all day and that was it. Call me anti-social, but why would it matter? Most of us have come to a bad end already, and some have become heros. Either way, we die a painful dead.

"Hey Zin," I called. "I saw some fliers around camp about you. I'm guessing you're running, too?"

She looked around, searching for the voice and saw Marie. "Oh, not really. I think Raphaela just thought that I have a chance." she said with a sigh. "I really don't get why we had to advertise in the whole camp. I thought the cabin was enough." she said. She placed a small sigh on her lips. Raphaela seemed prepeared even when Zin herself didn't know she was running. "Well, I uess that's Raphaela for you." she said, trying to lift the room. The thought of her, endorsing herself as cabin leader seemed funny and way out of her league. She was more of the quiet type.

I let out a soft laugh. "You have a pretty good chance, honestly," I added. "Based on what you've told me, you look like you have a pretty good chance. You survived a war, so why not?"

"I don't think that counts. Yeah, I did survive, but then, I survived by chance." she shrugged. "Well, what brings you here?" she asked with a smile. A part of her wondered why she was here.

"Just hanging around, I guess," I replied simply. I plopped myself down on one of the bunks. "So what have you been doing? Anything weird pop up or anything?"

"The question is, has anything normal happened." she smirked. "Everything weird happens to me all the time." she laughed a bit. She sat to the opposite bunk of Marie. Living a life of a demigod do have it's ups and downs. And mostly, all downs had happened to her.
