"She's Too Beautiful to be a Daughter of Hermes..." [ N I C O F A C E ]

I step up to the rude, gross guys. "Hey, hey, hey! Cut it out!" I growl, pushing up my sleeves. Sure, I wasn't a natural fighter, but I had street smarts, and muscle. That was a pretty good combination.

Taking three of Maggie's bags I left them up and clear off someone's bed. Sure, they would be mad at me, but we could deal with that later. Then an idea hit me. "You know Maggie, you could probably sleep in the Hera cabin. It's for Minor God/desses and Hades childrem, but I bet you could stay there." I look down, thinking about it, than look back up.

"Marisa," I say, turning to my sister. "Scram. Nice seeing you. I'll talk to you later."

As Marisa gives me an annoyed look and runs off, I turn back to Maggie. "Or you could sleep in this bed and pray you get claimed before the owner comes back." I look more closely at the bunk. A few words were scribbled into it's side. Chase wuz heer.

Obviously the guy that wrote them wasn't very smart. I could probably out wit him. If only I knew how witty Hermes kids were.

I hardly noticed the boys, and I was more interested in Maggie. "Sure you could have." I roll my eyes, adding lightly. "You sure you want to sleep on the floor?"

I glanced at the boys. Could I take them? Well, I needed to get Maggie's money back. But I wasn't exactly good in fights. Suddenly a familiar voice whispers in my head, "Use your powers, my boy." I look around, afraid, but I understand where the voice had come from. I couldn't reply to my dad, but I knew what to do.

"Hey, losers!" I shout, ripping a spine tingling gust of wind toward the boys. Some of Maggie's money flies free from their hands and into mine. "Pay up."

I smile, glad Maggie was happy. "Well, they still have some money," I growl, angry at the boys. I bring another huge gust of wind, so cold there were shards of ice mkxed in. The ice hit each boys' hand, making them release the money. My wind brought the money back, and I let it hang in front of Maggie. "Now they don't have any of your money." I try to ignore the fact that she had a lot of money in her wallet.

Leaving the Hephaestus Cabin with Zaph, I kicked open Cabin 11's door, making it hit the wall "OW!" A voice said. I had a habit of doing this. Kicking down doors like some bad-as$. DAM RIGHT, B*TCHES. I needed some stuff to pull a prank on a certain Are's child....

Pulling Zaph behind me, I walked in to Hermes cabin.

Looking into the middle of the room, a rather pretty girl was standing, hugging Dylan, and her hair ruffled. A devilish, sneaky smile crossed my face. Hehehehehehe...

"Oooh Dylan. What have we here?"

"Welcome," I say with a shrug. All I had done really was taken control of my powers. If only I could make sure these grubby losers didn't steal her things when my powers and I weren't around. Still, she seemed confident that she could handle herself. "Now that that's over with, I really hope you get claimed soon. I don't like the idea of you, and your stuff, sleeping on the floor. After having those guys steel your stuff, I realize how good these kids are at being thieves."

Suddenly Maggie's entire body grew aglow with a pink light. Many Hermes boys were now winking and smiling. And whistling. She looked around her at the boys, "What are you looking at?" She tried to snap, but she was too nice for that. She looked down at herself and gasped. Her outfit from school was replaced with a blue dress that hit her knees, her legs were clean without any bruises or scratches and a few bracelets now decorated her left arm. She brushed her hands down the silky fabric and smiled. "Oohh...so pretty..." She murmured, fascinated with the silk.

I stare at Maggie, awestruck. She was normally beautiful, but she currently looked amazing. I couldn't help but say something . . . anything! "Maggie! You look . . . you look pretty, somehow. I mean! Not that you somehow look pretty, I mean . . . Ugh. I'm sorry. That was stupid. But congratulations! From what I've seen, that means Aphrodite has claimed you as her daughter. At least you don't have to sleep on the floor." I am blushing so much that my entire pale face is red. How could I say such a thing! You look pretty somehow? Nice going Dylan.

I laugh, summoning my strength to bring wind towards Maggie's over sized bags. The bags get lifted into the air, this time with ease. I carrying them along as I watch Maggie, making sure she didn't fall. It was hard to imagine someone looking so beautiful, yet so clumsy at the same time. "How did your dad take you leaving?" I ask, eager to say something . . . ANYTHING not stupid. I think my question was a fair one. My mom was dead, so my leaving was a really great idea. I wasn't so sure about other parents.

I look around me, trying to catch the items in a whirl pool of wind. They weren't going to hit me, no, that wasn't going to happen. And they would dare hit Maggie, even though she seemed to be doing a good enough job herself. Over-protectiveness was part of my personality. I couldn't just shake it; leave it behind. "Do you think he misses you?" I ask, wanting to know more.

As I let my guard down, knowing I wasn't strong enough a demigod to keep everything balanced, I catch an arrow. After shouting a few swear words in Ancient Greek at an Apollo kid, I set down Maggie's bags. The mud had worn off of their designer bags, and they looked like they had had as much of a make-over as Maggie. "Are you an all year camper?" I tilt my head, adding effect to my question. I reach for another arrow, not even looking in the direction of the shooter. I didn't really care.
