In the shade of the trees

"Well, um, see the thing is... um, well, I was sent to bait you into a fight. And your dad, your thinking why I have met your dad and not contacted you right? Well, um your dad, well he really does appreciate you and stuff, but he wants you to y'know, um, i'm not supposed to tell you but he wants you to prove yourself by fighting me. I met him through my mom. She gave me this dog-tag and he gave me my only friend, my hellhound Thiole."

"Sure" I shrug easily, this shouldn't be too hard. I had been trained by Ares himself. "If you want" My dog-tag expands into the 36' Thanatos(Death) a wicked blade of black gold. "Be warned, I won't hurt you but if you touch my blade..." I thought for a second "Um, nevermind, just don't touch it."

"Wasn't planning on it." I wait for him to make the first move.

"Okay... Good!" I started thinking, maybe, just maybe I could be friends with this girl. I swung down hard towards her head passing through any block she might throw and stopping at the tip of her scalp.

I parry away the blade and sweep her legs with my foot. "Is that all you got? I mean, sorry, but the way your dad put it, I thought you would be like fighting Herakles."

"Ouch" I looked at my leg in surprise. "Never been cut by a sword in battle before, you done good lil girl. However, your dad really was telling the truth, you are pretty tough." I turn my blade into a shadow passing through her stomach. "Like I said, if you touched my blade, NORMALLY, if it wasn't shadow form, you'd get the life sucked out of you. After all, my swords name is Death.

OOC- Might have to go soon sorry it was fun. I have to eat then go to Karate.

I looked down at the shadow in my stomach. I couldn't really knock it out of there with my sword, now could I? "And when it's just in shadow form? What happens?"

OOC: Okay. We can just continue when you get back or whatever.

"Nothing, I put it in that so it couldn't hurt you but it makes a mimick mark, and if you did knock it out, it would hurt but you could."

OOC: I'm back for a little

BIC: "See, the whole theory behind the shadow blade thing is that when you stick someone, it doesn't hurt and when you pull it out it doesn't, but if they touch it, it does. It is an old way of training." I stab towards her expecting her to parry.

"Ahh, I see you can get angry. Now how... can you handle this?" I pull a dagger out from my belt behind my back. "Don't consider this a cheat, your dad asked me to." I pushed forward using both dagger and blade, then leap over her head and push her into some mud. "So," I ask "Angry yet?"

As she swipes, I fade into the air like mist that wasn't really there. But she did scar me, ouch, right on my left knee.


OOC: LOL that whole thing rhymed and now I really have to leave for karate sorry was fun. Bye! how do I add people to friends?

"This isn't over!" I shout to the air.

"Me." I say into her ear from behind.

She looked at him oddly. "Really?" she asked in a flat tone. "How come?" she asked. He just popped the answer out of no where and she wanted to know why.
