| I sit down under the largest tree I can find and pull the sleeves of my hoodie over my hands. I listened to the creek, the water fumbling over rocks and spilling onto land. It was so peaceful. Exactly what I needed. It made me think, only for a brief moment, that all of this could just be a dream. An illusion created by the darkness I had always surrounded myself in. "But when has darkness ever hurt me? Gods, I'm so stupid." I mumble. | |
