I hunkered my bahootie down in the bushes. " Jade couldn't have gone to far." I heard a gruff man voice say. True but I'm smarter than your average bear or average human, I thought smirking. "Hey." A voice whispered in my ear, causing me to almost reveal my hiding spot. "It's me, Jade. You know Rocky." He said flashing me with a white smile. "Oh, you nearly gave me a heart attack." I hissed under my breath. He shrugged. I listen and sighed. "let's beat it Rocky." I said stalking off. Now for all of you who haven't caught on just yet, my name is Jade. The other fellow just so happens to be my best friend Rocky. We've lived in Montana at a place called Heaven's Home For Children. In short an orphanage for kids like me and Rocky.
