I was walking to Euros Creek for some quiet time, just by myself. I liked all of the commotion in camp, but sometimes I needed time by myself. So, I had my iPod Touch in my left hand and my earbuds in my ears. I neared the icy creek, when I notice a girl there, about two years younger than me, and wet.

I then see the gaping hole in the creek. I can probably guess what happened, I thought to myself. I slowly walk up to the girl, my feet with my Air Jordans barely making a sound on the snowy ground. Still, more snow covered my hair and my clothes, a army-like jacket, with an Orange Crush t-shirt and black denim jeans. My jet black hair looked like a spotted Dalmation, with the amount of white in it.

"Hey." I tell her, looking down at the girl. She was reading a book, I was too high up to read the title, but it looked pretty thick.

I look her over. "Are you...okay?" I ask her. She was all wet and dirty. She looked like the type of girl who hated getting dirty and things like that. I put my hands in my jean pockets, the thumbs poking out. I flip my hair and smile softly.

"Ollie Thomas. Son of all powerful Zeus." I smirk at Julia. I hope she knew I was kidding. "Athena?" I ask her. She looked it. And by the size of her book, she seemed it too. The only book I read is cheat code books.

"Five," I say, fingering the small beads on my necklace. "What about you?" I ask her. I lean against a big tree, possibly a maple.

I shrug. "I just like the quiet sometimes. All of the commotion and stuff is simply too much." I hold up my iPod. "And you can't hear the music." I smile at the corner of my mouth.
