Date at the beach [private]

I leaned over and gave him a soft hug. What some people don't understand is that sometimes actions mean more than words. When something bad happens, you can't go on pretending like you're happy and nothing is wrong. You have to have that moment of grief. Gods know my dad hasn't ended his grief of me having cancer, and it was years ago.

I whispered a quiet "Thank you" in her ear. The hug felt different than I expected it, I though that she would be cold like ice, but it was rather the opposite it felt warm and just so friendly not like many of those fake-hugs.
I wish I could do or say anything to show her how much I appreciated her, but I just kept quiet.

As I pulled back I replied," You're welcome. Uhm.. do you happen to have the time?" I immediatly felt for my phone, but I had on mesh shorts, no pockets. I never wear a watch, so that was out of the question.

I checked my watch to see what time it was and told her "Yea um almost 8pm"

"Shoot. I gotta go, my dad is picking me up at nine. I promise I'm not trying to ditch you." I smile and coninue, "I have a doctor's appointment in the morning so...I guess I'll see you later." I got up and called Chimous . I waved, and jogged in the direction of my Cabin.
