| The waves came crashing down to the side of a cliff. A girl, hesitated as she looked at the rough weather, from the cliff, and the wind passed through her hair. The same image passed through her head. The lifless body was the object in her mind. Blood was everywhere and she couldn't stand it. 'You kill me!', an echo of a boy's voice bounced in her head. She covered her ears and crouched down, guitl crashing down. "Stop..", she said. She couldn't handle it. The voice grew closer and she closed her eyes shut. "STOP IT!", she screamed and the voice faltered a little. But it came back only seconds after. Desperate to get it out, she jumped off the cliff, into the cold water beneathe her. | |

| "Whoa, whoa, whoa." I said, pulling back my sister before she could jump. I steadied her for a little bit before frowning. Candice. I never really interacted with her, but I knew my siblings. "What do you think you're doing, sis?" I asked, looking down the cliff briefly before shuddering and backing up while bringing her with me.

| She waited for the water. But it didn't come. She opened her eyes and saw she wasn't falling. She looked at him and looked down, embarrassed. "I.. Nothing.." she mumbled and looked at her brother. It was Felix. She didn't know him too well but she saw him at the cabin. "Just can't handle some things." | |

| "Ah, I see. Well, don't jump!" I said, laughing nervously. Then I got concerned. Furrowing my eyebrows, I looked at her and felt like an actual older brother for a second. "You want to talk about it? With me? Haha, I'm not the greatest person to get advice from but I'm willing to listen to whatever you have to say." |

| She smiled at him sadly. "Yeah. But it'll be a waste of your time. Besides, I think you have something better to do." she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. She wondered why he became all brotherly all of the second. It wasn't annoying, just plain awkward. She always was distant to her siblings. | |

| "It's not a waste of my time." I said, smiling back at her. "But you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I understand. But sometimes, talking about the stuff makes them a little bit better. Just getting it off your chest, you know?" I said, crouching down and drawing a few things in the dirt. |

| "Yeah." she smiled sadly. "it's just.. Pets call it warshock. I used to like being in the field. It's just that this time, it's more traumatic. I even hardly defended myself." she chuckled darkly. It was guilt crashing on her again. The more she thinks about it, the more guilt on her shoulders. | |

| And to think she was only 13. She shouldn't have to experience such things. I know what it's like - I had been in her shoes once. The first time I killed someone... I had been her age, and I had slain plenty of monsters before - it was different getting rid of them, they always came back. But then I had gone out for my first time, I had been so excited. But there was nothing exciting about it. Nothing at all. I knew that now.
"I know how you feel." I said, smiling empathetically. "I feel like giving up sometimes too." And I had given up once. Sucking in a breath, I grinned and stood up. "But you have to keep on going on anyways. Not just for the people who are depending on you, but for yourself as well. I know that I would be way prouder of myself if I pushed on in times of hardship. What about you?" |

| "I guess so." she grinned. It was not normal she could talk her feelings out. And it wasn't everyday someone understands. She has no more family in the real world but she does have her half family. "Thanks big bro." she smiled to the taller boy. | |

| "Anytime, Candice." I said, beaming at her before glancing at my watch and freaking out for a minute. "Oh man, I have to be somewhere right now. Sorry I have to leave you so quickly, but I'll see you around!" I said, waving as I sprinted off. |

| "Yeah. Thanks by the way.", she said but he was already awa. She sighed and went to sit by the cliff again. Her eyes stinging, she sat down and cried. She cried how foolish she was. She looked again to the water below and saw sharp rocks sticking out of the water. How painful it was to crash on them, she was greatful she didn't know. | |
