Subject: Summoning the dead Wed Jan 05, 2011 5:02 pm

I threw some food in a hole near the creek.I started chanting,until the form of my former friend appeared."Antonio." I said blankly.I liked to see his ghost.

"Kai."

I walked forward with Ray.We both received a message to come here.Kai didn't notice because he was to busy staring at my brother's ghost.

As soon as I caught a glimps of Antonio's ghost, I sprinted over so fast I almost lost my balance. "Hey guys," I said. I turned my head and faced Antonio. "Hello."

"Is this it?" I asked, confused.

"Appears to be." Everyone seemed so much younger than me. Except for one boy that seemed like a son of Apollo. I knew almost everyone at camp, so I think his name was Ray, but I wasn't sure.

Walking forward,I notice a tree near us.Then,Antonio took the words out of my mouth.

"Funny.The only tree around,was the tree we used to hang out at."

He was right.The only tree near us was tree we carved our initials into.Halo's had been added lately,so there were now six names instead of five.Kai and I and discovered that tree.

"Who are the girls?" I asked.I recoginized Kai's girlfriend,Melina,but I didn't know the other two.

I continue to stare blankly.

"Victoria Murphy, daughter of Nike. I went to school with Melina, but when we got here, we didn't really hang out much due to training."

"Alex Moore, daughter of Demeter. I've just recently became friends with Victoria at the arena a few days ago."

I nodded."While,I guess you've met Tobias,our son of Nyx.I'm Ray,son of Apollo,Noah is our son of Athena,the ghost is his brother Antonio,and Kai is as you've probably guessed,is a son of Hades." I told them,introducing our group.

I smiled.Ray was always good with introductions.That's how I met him.

"Yeah,I'm Noah." I said,and looked toward my brother's ghost.I missed him so much.I wish he had never died.

"Noah.You must stop grieving.It could put you into a bad state of depression or worse.You must move on.You can't stay on this forever."

"But you died!And,anyway,since when have you been so wise?"

"Since I was born,if you haven't forgotten our mother."

While Antonio was speaking, I was praying to my mother, Athena. Mother, I understand that you may be a goddess, and sometimes you don't have time for your children, but I ask you to help us. Help us move on, and forget about Antonio's death, but only to forget about it so that we may not lose sight of what's now, and what was then. I ceased my praying when I noticed Victoria walking over to Kai. Oh, gods...

"Hi there," I said in a cheery voice.

"What?" I asked,weakly.This was one of Melina's friends,and I just hoped he wouldn't ask me a bunch of boring questions.I hated when girls dd that.Lucky for me,Melina didn't do that."

I felt my face burn and turn bright red. Knowing Vic, this was going to be embarassing. Especially since Kai is my boyfriend, and I hoped Antonio wouldn't get ticked.

I crossed my arms and smiled. "How are you doing?"

I was a little frightend. I've never seen this side of Victoria before, but I decided not to get involved, so I stayed silent.

That upset me."Oh,I don't know.My best friend's brother died recently.Nothing much." I said,narrowing my eyes.The questions.I hated when this happened."Anyway,what the hell do you care?" I ignored my bad language.I wasn't in a good mood.

I gave Kai a glare as if saying She's still my friend, go easy on her. I cared about Kai, I really did, but I also cared about my friends. I wouldn't allow them to become enemies.

I had the urge to punch him in his little eleven year old face. I was fourteen, I'm not afraid to beat up on a little kid, especially since I excelled in fighting. I noticed Melina giving Kai a look, so I thought that's all I needed.

I stood there silent. I didn't expect Kai to use language like that, but he did seem to give atitude in the infirmary when I healed him.

I looked at.. Victoria,was that her name?She looked like she was ready to attack Kai.I laughed in my mind at that.She maybe able to beat Kai up alone,but Kai wasn't alone.Noah,Tobias and I would stand up for him,if necessary.

I couldn't believe Kai.He'd said he stop with his language,and use Greek instead.But nooo.He has to go and start cursing everyone out again,and it would probably get worse.

I stared at them.I hated when Kai was like this.This is what got his mother killed.Some kid got him upset,he lost control... and everything went downhill.

I looked at Melina.Fine.My look said.I was furious,I was mad,and this girl wa making it worse.Last time I got so mad,I ended up accidentally killing my mother.I didn't want it to happen again.I didn't want to relive the guilt of killing somebody.

I gained some confidence to speak, and stepped between Victoria and Kai. "Listen, everyone, we all need need to get along. Like it or not, we're all related somehow. Our parents are one whole family, and since we are their children, so are we. Family is one of the most important things in life. If we all don't take advantage of this, well, we're screwed. Cronus could attack any minute, and if the only thing were concintrating on in killing eachother, it'll just be easier for Cronus to defeat us in this war."

I was impressed with this girl's wisdom. She took the words right out of my mouth, and I only expected that kind of talk from my siblings. She made great points, even though this was one little fight, she was right. This could continue, and get worse, until it's reached the point where we absolutly hate eachother. We couldn't let that happen, I couldn't let that happen. "Alex is right, this attitude torwards eachother could become fatal, and it indeed would make things easier for Cronus."

I jumped.Antonio's ghost hadn't spoken,and I forgot he was there.

"Your right." I said,and turned away.I thought of my mother.I couldn't end up like that again.Never.

I walked over to Kai and wrapped my arms around his neck from behind. "It's alright, I know," I wispered. I made my voice sound as comforting as possible, but I wasn't sure if that was enough to keep him from blowing up again.

I honestly did feel bad for him. I'm not the type of girl that likes to hold a grudge for even atleast a good three minutes. I was the complete opposite of one of those prissy, popular type of girls. That would probably explain my whole fighting background, but I was a bit of a softie. Sad, yes. Do I regret it? Sometimes.

"Good," I said, "Now you two make up." I think I sounded like a mother trying to keep her kids from fighting again, but I didn't care. I was trying to keep everyone together.

"Sorry..." I said. It was suprisingly easy for me to say that. It usually isn't, so I didn't know why it was this time.

I mumbled something.It sounded sorta like 'Sorry' But was more like 'Mfrrree' I didn't realize though.I was just upset.

I look at the ghost blankly.I wish Antonio was really here.

I smiled.It was good to see Antonio again,even as a ghost.

This must be a happy moment for Noah.

"It's nice to see you again, Antonio," I said. I wasn't lying when I said that. He was my half-brother, but I treated like him like my real brother.

I stared at Antonio's ghost, and remained silent.

I stood next to Ray. "When did he die?" I wispered, hoping that only he could hear me.

I looked at her,and whispered "During the battle.An enemy demigod killed him,the demigod did it for revenge.Noah had killed his brother a few years ago.Then Noah killed this demigod too,but not before this.It's sad really." I told her.

"So, uh, Antonio, how is everything?" I asked. I debated on whether that was the right choice of words, but I gave it a chance.

"Hey.The Underworld is awesome." I say,with mock offense.

I placed my hand on Kai's shoulder, and laughed. "Isn't Elysium supposed to have parties and stuff everyday? You know, free food, loud music. Almost like an Olympian party."

I'd said nothing this whole time.It was just weird seeing my dead brother.As a ghost.

I smiled, "Have you tried the Isles of the Blest? But of course you'd have to be reincarnated three times to get there."

I began fiddling with the bottom of my bow, which was near my waistline.I didn't know what to say, or do. I didn't know anyone here.
