From the corner of my eye I watched Kai walk in. What a coincidence. Or did I somehow communicate with him and not even know it? "Kai!" I shouted.

"What's up with him?" I ask nodding at Antonio.He looked... I don't really know.

"Nothing!"There was nothing up with me!

I ran over to where Kai was standing, "It's nothing." I reply. I gave him a look stating that it clearly was something, but didn't make it obvious for Antonio.

I nod.Antonio was gonna get himself killed this way.Especially with the battle."Well,Noah's better anyway."

I leaned in and gave Kai a hug. "That's good," I say still hugging him. I let go quickly, so Antonio wouldn't freak out again. Plus, I felt bad for him.

"I can't wait for the fight.I know that sounds bullheaded,but I wanna fight this time,Ya,know?"

I nodded, "I've been training harder than usual." I was sweaty from sword-fighting dummies. I was a little uneasy about the battle, but I knew it was going to happen, and I had to accept it.

"Noah's been muttering to himself.Hes afraid his specially made weapons and plans will fail,and we'll all die.He's really nervous.He shouldn't be,I mean,he's killed Kronos minions before.That's how his brother got the scythe."

"I'm sure we all have," I said. I was still feeling uneasy about everything. I stared at the ground, trying to push the thought aside.

I returned my gaze to Kai. "He's just jealous of you and me, and Noah and Halo," I said. "He wants someone of his own, and I do feel a little bad for him."

I nodded in agreement. I walked over to the right of the arena, and picked up a bow and a quiver filled with arrows. I slung the quiver over my back, and stepped a few feet away from a target. The arrows rattled on my back as I took one out and fired it. It was only a few inches from the bulls-eye but not bad.

I smiled at her archery.She was good.And hot.Really hot.And I'm repeating myself.In my mind.Man,I feel dumb.

I turn to him and smile, "Do you want to try? That was my first time ever using a bow and arrow. I much rather prefer sword-fighting."

"Im may aswell try." I say with a shrug,and take the bow and quiver.I start shooting at the target.

I wrap my arms around his neck from behind and kiss his cheek. "Good shot," I said.

I smile and almost faint again.It was heavenly.It made me suddenly unscared.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to hang out with you on Christmas, I had to visit my family," I said with guilt. A guilty expression covered my face. I stared at the ground - my arms still wrapped around his neck.

"That's fine." I winced,though at the mention of family,thinking of my mother.Why did I have to kill her?

I let go of him and drew my sword. "How about a battle?" I asked. "You know, to get ready for the upcoming one."

I readied my sword and charged. Slash, thrust, cleave, hack. I did my best to not use full force, but just enough for me to win. "Nervous?" I asked with a grin.

"No." I say with a smirk.I knock back each of her strikes with my own sword.

I lunged at him in the stomache, then hacked. I pulled back and held my sword in a defending position, waiting for him to make the next move.
