| I crash through the doors of the armory. I look around for James. "James!" I call. "I've got a big order for you. My entire cabin needs new bows and arrows. I'm sorry, I hope it's not too much!" I hold my beat up bow and fell proud. | |

| James was busy in the back of the armory as fire hissed and he shaped swords. He'd in the last two days created 9 swords that each in turn came with shields. He heard a shout and looked up, "Give me two days, I'll deliver sixty bows and two hundred arrows at sunrise on Wednesday," he shouted back and threw the sword onto the heap behind him and walked over and opened a chest full of things used to create bows. Then he reconsidered and took out different metals. He started. | |

| I smile, relieved. "Thanks a million!" I dash out of the armory so I can help back at my cabin. | |

| I finish the spears I was working on, then take note of Hale's order. "I can help, James..." I start to build some arrows. | |

| I step through the door and take my place at my workbench, carving the metal for the cabin leader's bow. I slash a small indent in the side and fill it with yellow gold. I blaze the metal at such a high temperature that the metal becomes red, and the gold forms a small sun. I use a strand of fine, stretchy material for the string, and test it out, enforcing it's strength with a thin layer of imperial gold, turning the string orange. I pull it back and release, feeling the steady pull. Finally a carve a handle for easy hold. Holing up the bow I feel a great sense of pride. It was beautiful, and perfect for an Apollo Cabin Leader. | |

| Sitting down and taking off my backpack I dump out my tools and got to work. I built a couple bows and so many invisible arrows I lost count. I kept making and making. | |

| I take the huge pile of arrows I made and one by one, I cover them in a special coating. The coating turns them invisible. The process is very time-consuming. | |

| I almost passed out from working, but I managed to keep going. I made more invisible arrows and now I was ready to give them to the Apollo. | |

| I get the call that my bow was ready, so I enter the armory. I look around, and see it with a daughter of Hephaestus. "Thanks," I say, taking it from her. "I'll pick up the rest of my cabin's bows later."
I proudly hand off my bow to the Apollo cabin leader, Hale. But soon I get back to work making more bows, without the color tinted into it. They all look great, and sturdy. I was proud of my work.

| I wiped my forehead and looked at about a couple hundred arrows that were invisible. I grabbed all the bows and arrows and put them in three giant sacks. I walked out and saw a guy limping heading to the cabins. I ran over and said, "Hey I know your banged up, but could you take these to the Apollo cabin.
"Sure why not?" I say grabbing the bags and limping away.

| I finish my last bow and look at it. Sadly I put it in the stack with the rest. "This war thing isn't going to be good for camp." I gently put the arrows into a duffel bag, each with a name of an Apollo cabin member engraved in the side. I haul the duffel bag out of the armory and to the Apollo cabin leader. As he takes it away, I watch all of my work go. | |

| James took out his phone and called Jochem Verbeck. A child of Magic. He was going to help make everyone's arrow's invisible to the enemy, not the one who'd be yielding them. | |

| I watch James as he calls a Hecate kid. I was looking forward to watching him do magic. Before he could arrive, I started making regular arrows for Hecate to turn invisible. Carefully I crafted the wood, the covered it in metal. I also made the arrow head out of celestial bronze, otherwise it wouldn't kill the monsters. | |
