I walked into the forset, like normal. This place was nice, a soft breeze blew past, hitting my arms. Cloked over my was a light plain white t shirt, and a light leather jacket, with faded slightly dirty rimed jeans and so thick boots.
My green eyes scaned over the ground, fiding a good place. I sat down and stared a small blade of grass, closing my eyes, and fouceing the grass sported a bright purple flower. I flet breathing down my neck I opened my eyes and seen a marble grey-blue pitbull I rolled my eyes and moved away from Della.

Autumn floated absentmindedly through the forest. Because she could control wind, she had gained the ability through training to learn how to fly. However, she couldn't go over a hover yet. So...the daughter of Eurus floated about six inches off of the forest floor. Her green gazed matched that of the grass, the rich emerald green that she had gotten used to seeing in the mirror. Autumn let out a sigh as a gust of wind ruffled her strawberry blonde hair. Her hair was so...flat and thick. It did absolutely nothing! But what could she do? Getting a perm would just give her an afro, and her hair couldn't hold a curl. Autmun roughly shook her head, not wanting to be negative. If she was negative about every bad thing...she'd never be happy.
Autumn soon grew tired from all of the hovering and landed gently on the ground. Naturally...after two steps she fell flat on her face with a loud THUD "Ow..." she called as she brushed the dirt and bits of leaves from her red, white and green floral print dress.

hearing Thud Jacob turn rather quickly seeing a girl half lying half sitting on the groud, pulling leaves and other debere out of her hair, he chuckled down in his neck. Rising a thick brown eye brow he asked, "How'd you mange to get her without me hearing you, and crash, ruther loudly?" Jake had never had the most thoughtout thinking when he talked
Della the very thick muceld and mincing looking pit walked or more so wadled over to the girl, and sniffed her hair. then waging her tail she manged to shake her entire body, Jake just snorted a quick laugh before standing to his 5'9 height and offered her a warm hand.

Autumn gently scratched behind the dog's ears and too the boy's hand, pulling herself off of the ground. "I flew...landed then tripped. However, the falling part is pretty common for me.." she explained as she brushed herself off more. Taking another step forward she stumbled ad fell once again. She looked up at him with a sheepish grin. "Daughter of Eurus, the east and "unlucky" wind explains my clumsiness.." she explained with a light laugh. This time, she rose to her feet on her own and decided to stay in her spot to keep from tripping again.

Nodding once, He gave a smirk, and lowered his hand to his side snaped his finges and rolled his wrist, Della quickly rushed to his side and sat like a trained dog should. The drity blonde guy then turned his eyes back to the girl, and stated his name as, Son of Demeter, which would explain my stableablity and the dirt" he motioned to the tathered ends of his jeans which were stained endding half way over the wore boots.

Autumn nodded her head slowly, deciding to stay exactly where she was. Her green gaze flickered over to the dog. "What's her name?" she asked curiously. Her hands found their way to the pockets of her dress. She loved dresses that had pockets, it made them easier to wear.

He looked down at Della, sqauting down and smiled, rubbing her thick skull, "This is Dellaware, but.... call her Della, Oh yeah, and I'm Jacob, call me Jake" he annoiced then standing back up and tilting head asking, or stateing anouther, unthoughtout qeustion, "If you daughter of the 'unluckly east wind' soulden't people Around you have unlucky moments around you, or.... is it just you?" He ADHD brain works hard to understand this small thing.

Autumn sighed, plopping down on the ground with a dull thud and a crunch of leaves. "That's a...log story.." she answered vaugely. Autumn looked up, seeing the look on Jake's face. Without waiting for a reply she sighed, picking at a leaf. "It wasn't always that way. Everyone around me used to have bad luck when I'd walk by. I was like...a black cat," she said with slight disdain. She paused, looking up at him to see if he wanted her to continue her story.

Sitting back down, a few feet away, with the thick bodied dog on my other side, I nodded, wanting to hear her story, though in the back of my head it rung clear, that Black cats were a old wives tell....Tale...cats had tails, well most of them.... wonder why they don't like dogs, thats not a wives tell, but. some cats liked dogs.... LISTEN. TO. THE. GIRL. I screamed in my brain fouced on what she was going to say, looking my medow grass green eyes with hers.

Autumn sighed, taking a sudden interest in the leaf in her hand. "I'd walk by and...someone would get hit by a car. Or a piano being lifted to the 22 floor of a building would fall on someone's head. Of my mom brought me to work...she'd lose her job. Naturally, I wondered why this was happening. One day..my mother finally told me my father's name. She said he simply introduced himself as Eurus. I looked up the name and saw it...the reason for the pain and suffering of everyone around me. I was a part of the east wind...I was causing the bad luck wherever I went. I locked myself in my room...as far away from anyone as possible. After two days of sitting in my closet my father came to me in a dream. He said...That the reason I had yet to be attacked by a monster was because everytime they tried to get neare they'd become extremely unlucky just like everyone else. So he explained that I could see this as a blessing and learn to live with causing so much pain. But I didn't want that. I offered to take on the burden and he looked at me like I was insane. He said that I'd take to steps and fall on my face...I'd walk by and someone would lose the grip of their sword and it'd hit my leg.." her voice trailed off as she turned her leg to the side, revealing the scar. "But I didn't care. One person being unlucky I better then everyone around being cursed. My father said I'd probably die early...because of the bad luck. But I didn't care. The number of lives that could have been ruined by me walking past them outweighs my own life and luckiness. I took on the burden of the bad luck...so the rest of the world wouldn't have to. And after I did I was attacked by every monster you could imagine. Somehow...I made it out alive. I quickly came here..." she finished, glancing around.

I frowned, "Oh." I said my eyebrows sruching. Voiceing my honset opainian, "Well, I could see how one person being hurt, insteed of others, makes sence. that was a really good choise to make, unforutainly it had to be in someone a nice as you, i call you nice, because you had to be so to take on a curse" I said stuffing my hands into my leather jacket, and purseing my lips I thought, "In a way it's kinda like Della, Because she's a Pitbull, most people think she dangerous, and will kill at the small chance, with no hope to for a peaceful life.... Just because her blood" I said trying to make a link between the two. Though she was not like Della, she was....

Autumn looked up at Jake, nodding her head. "Yeah...I always wanted a dog. But I can't...too unlucky..." she explained as she gently scratched behind Della's ears. "I love pitbulls...I wanted a pitbull and german sheppard mix..." she added with a smile. Quickly realizing she hadn't told him her name she loomed up with a shy smile. "I'm Autumn...by the way. Guess I forgot to tell you.." she added as she continued to pet Della.

I smiled, and nodded, "Awe. I was about to start guessing names...." I said with a smile, Della seemed all to happy for the attention to be on her. I scooted over towards the two a little closer. Then looking down wear my hand was. between my thumb and forefinger was the blade of grass with the purple flower. I looked down at it carefully.

Autumn laughed lightly, glancing over at Jake to see his attention on a small, purple flower. She smiled, looking at the blossom curiously. "Isn't it a little late for flowers to be blooming?" she asked, curiously arching her eyebrow. One hand continued to scratch behind Della's ear while the other gently stroked the petals of the flower like a soft breeze.

I smiled, "Your right..." I said smirking, and closing my hand, it brushed hers for a half a moment, and has I fouced, the flower and grass shrunk and squt and turned, leaving a bringht red maple leaf, with a very distint brown and yellow circles on it. "Look better for the season?" I asked with a cocked eyebrow.

Autumn's eyes widened a bit as she abruptly looked up at Jake. "How did you-....oh that's right. Demeter kid.." she said with a grin. Autumn slowly rose to her feet, brushing herself off. "I can do this.." she said before she lifted off of the ground. For a moment, she hovered a few feet above, and then she slowly began to land. As soon as she landed, naturally, she tripped and began to fall towards the ground. She hoped by sole miracle that's Jake would have a fast reaction time and catch her. She hated falling and tripping...but it was a sacrifice sue had to make..

Somewhere in the back of my head, I just knew that she would fall, I don't why I would think that? I was sitting on my knees has she fell, I manged to cacth her, my arms wrapped around her torso. I looked at her with a slightly amused expression. Cacthing her wasn't the most graceful thing , how I was knocked back alittle on my back, but manged to keep her from doing a nose drit in the sod.

Autumn slowly opened her eyes after she didn't feel the usual thud. Her gaze focused o. Jake and she smiled. Her arms had draped over his shoulders and her hair hung in her face a bit. "Thanks.." she murmured with a nod. Her cheeks felt hot and like they were bright red, which they probably were. Autumn had always gotten embarassed easily, especially about her klutziness. She herself didn't like the affects of the curse, but they were necessary ones to keep others around her safe...

I nodded once, and smiled, I'm sure you like laying in my arms, and i'm not compailing, but I'm laying on a stick" I pointed out. wincing at how i'm sure I had jabbed myself with a paice of wood, it didn't hurt. but it wasn't very comfy ethier. I noticed her hair, taking a hand and taking a lock in my fingers. the texare was unquie and enjoyable. I curled it aroound my fingers absentmindedly.

Autumn's cheeks flushed a bit and she bit her lip. "If you want me to get up...you'll have to let go of my hair. It may be long...but not that ling," she retorted, quickly wincing at her rudeness. She had been so sarcastic lately...and she just didn't understand why. "Ah...sorry..." she said, rubbing the back of her neck.
Autumn gently removed her hair from Jake's hand and rose to her feet. She kept her back to him as she pulled her hair to the front of her and ran her fingers through it. With a few swift movements, Autumn had pulled the long mop of strawberry blonde back in a messy, loose ponytail.

sitting up, Jake removed the stick that had bore into his back and throw it to the side, Still amused at her sacrassim, "Awe... I liked your hair" most would think he was flirting, But Jacob was just the one to say/do and or ask the first thing that came to his mind, if he hasatatied on something, it meant his brain had stopped working. His keep his olive colored eyes on her long, thick mane of hair, until it was in a ponytail. Then rolled them to the side as he looked at Della, Who was much to busy hunting for his stick. "Just don't move, or else I'll have to cacth you again, and I may not let you up" He treatening good naturedly.

Autumn laughed, shaking her head. "You really think moving makes a difference?" she pointed out, arching an eyebrow. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other hen her ankle gave out and she went tumbling to the ground again.

I leaned over her, leaning over her, one arm on her other side, so she couldn't go anywhere, Leaning closer to her I whispered onto her neck playfuly, "Just, I kinda do. Maybe if you just sat still for a moment it may not happen, quite as much" I said smiling, leaning back to where I was sitting beside her again.

Autumn stuck her tongue out at him before she crossed her arms and pulled a few leaves from her hair. "Dang it..." she muttered, pulling her hair out of its ponytail so she could clean it of leaves. Although she wanted to believe that sitting would keep away the bad luck, she knew that wasn't the case. Soon se'd end up with a bee sting or bird poop on her shoulder...it's just the way things happened.

I looked at her for a moment then said rather blankly, "if you meet a guy, who was like the son of good luck, would it counter block your luck, making you luck blank?" I asked curoiusly. It seemed very likly
