A son of Aphrodite watching the sunset? private

Jared sat watching the sunset on an overlooking sandune. He had felt slightly melancholy lately and decided to leave his school temporarily and come back to camp.
~Gloria ran away and Christian had to run after her. That's what Christian and Gloria do. Hehe. xD

Baylee walked to the edge of the shore and picked up a small seashell. It was crumbling a bit, but she didn't cared. When she saw a slightly Famlliar face, she walked over to the boy. "Jared? Wow, I didn't think you'd come back from School. Nice to see you again." Baylee muttered, smiling at Jared.

"I thought you'd be more happy to see me then that." Jared cocked his head and smiled sadly. "You are looking more beautiful Baylee." He flashed her a brilliant white grin.

Baylee's face grew a light shade of crimpson. "I am, it's just that Zeus kids aren't the kind if type to go running toward each other and crying." Baylee joked, sitting down.

"I don't cry. Only when I watched Marley and Me." He laughed and drew out his arm over her shoulders.

Baylee laughs and nods, leaning against his shoulders, watching the waves. "Yeah, that was pretty sad..." She mutters, laughing.

"So your laughing?" I asked in mock stun.

That was certainly a hard question. Sure she was laughing, but it was sad. "I thought it was sad that all the people didn't die and an apocolypse didn't happened, but then funny that the dog died, not the stupid people." Baylee told Jared, crossing her arms and sitting in the water.

That was too complicated for me to understand so I nodded my head and say, "Yeah..."

"Yeah..." I said. "You have pretty eyes." I noted pushing a strand of hair back from her face.

Baylee blushed a bit and thought about what she was going to say. "Uh... Nice hair, I guess." She laughed, trying desperatly to tuck back one of his hair.s

"It's usually my job to push back your hair." I explained gently.

"It's obvious, it's just that... You... Need... A haircut." I say, pausing to brush out his hair. "It's long." I mutter, laughing and laying back in the soft sand.

"My mom says I have perfect hair, she likes it this length."
~You ever see Degrassi?

~Used to, now I don't watch it.

"Well, your mommy isn't here right now." I tease, staring at the sky.

"I know...but you like it too, just admit it." I flashed a perfect smile.
~Awh snap.

I shook my head and laughed. "It's long, I liked you more when you were 12, with that sideswept look." I quickly responded. I heard a small rustle in the bushes, getting to my feet, I pulled out my trusty sword and stood in attack position. "C'mon, let's get outta here." I muttered, looking around.

I looked around in alarm...I didn't need to show Baylee that I couldn't fight all that well.

I looked around and yanked Jared to his feet. "What are you doing?" I whispered to him, looking for some sort of weapon on him. No weapons. "Are you tel-" I stopped mid sentence and thrusted my sword at a large shadow, pulling it out and looking at the gooey green blood on my sword. "Nevermind that, just get behind me!" I shout, pushing him behind me.

"Fine by me!" I shouted in response.
