Just three Athena kids and Thalia's pine(private)

I let out a laugh.

I smiled and had to blush just a little. It wasn't the same blush I got when I saw one of the hot guys around camp, but it was an embarrised blush.

I lay back,and yawn.

I laugh and smile. "I think this is the most boring day ever. Theres really not anything much going on at all."

"I know."

I sighed some and played with the end of my long blonde braid.

I layed back even farther.

My eyes looked up at the sky. I knew it never rained here, though I liked the rain sometimes. I loved the summer, spring and occasional winter showers in Texas. I kept these thoughts to my self. I wouldn't dare share them.

I thought for a moment,and said "So,what's having family like?"

"Having a family is nice. I mean I've never met our mom, and so pretty much I only have my dad. I love my dad and I know he loves me. It hurts to leave him but I know its for the best and so does he. Its really good." I started to feel sad for my half-brother. Very sad.

I sigh."My dad loved Antonio.He sent him to a private school.He called him his pride and joy." I looked away for a moment,and then continued."He sent me to a public school,which I was fine with.He said I was a curse.He sent me on the streets after half a year.I was 5 years old on the streets of Philidelphia.So I came here.My only home."

I sighed. I honestly wished I knew what to say. I couldn't beleive how sad that was. His father had picked Noah's brother OVER him. It made me slightly angry. "Some people just don't get us. It hurts."

"I know.It really sucks."

I could only sigh and shake my head, sending blonde hair over my shoulders in a cascade effect. " I'm just glad that my dad loved me. I know he couldn't keep me forever though because of what I am. I understand what I am."

"Im happy for you,that your dad loves you and all." I say. "Sometimes I get a little jealous of other people."

I just sighed. I knew I needed to shut up after I heard that. "I get jealous of actual mortals. They can live normally."

"That's true"

I nodded and then looked down at the patch of grass around Thalia's pine that I was sitting on and then at the sky again. "I love what I am though, I'll admit that."

"I like beating the ccrap outta monsters." I say with a laugh.

I laughed my self. "I do too. I find it very fun, sometimes."

I just smile.

I walked up to the pine studying it. Then I happened to notice a group of kids there. So I went over and said, "Hi there, I'm new here. My name is Cori."

If I had know that people were so rude here I would have never come. I studied them. They looked a lot alike. Oh well, I wasn't wanted. I turned on my heel and went away only to glance back and regret my retreat without so much as a come back.
