Picking Pumpkins Colby {For Yume}

A walk through a chilly morning air, crisp leaves and a pale yellow sun hiden behind the curtain of fog and mist. Warpped safely in a warm jacket and long jeans I moved slowly through the woods. I seen something familer, my face broke into a grin. Pumpkins. I moved over their spiky smell inwarped me as I peered at the bright orange fruit. I had planted them a few mouths ago. now they were out, and I was about to crave my Jack-O-Latern, then scare the crape out of some people. Man! do I love October or What!

I was walking around, simply, and ended up in the forest. I kept walking, not caring where I was going. I would maybe end out of camp. While walking in the fresh air, I saw someone and some pumpkins. I kept walking in that way, curious to see what was the thing with the pumpkins.

I seen someone epourch, and smiled, the Misty morning, made the inside of the camp dull and dim, I moved around, until I was behind a large bush, bending down like I was doing something behind the bush, I disappered, to a tree looking down over the pacth, careful not to make a sound. I wacthed curiuos

I kept walking. The person was suddenly gone. I was now near the pumpkins, and I start watching this strange fruit. It is a special looking fruit. You don't see a lot of these in the desert. Though I already saw some, but they weren't cultivated there.

I laughed at the guy, wacthing closely, I made a shape ofa cat, about five inches tall, so a midget cat, it laided silnetly in the grass and moved towards the guy, it's sleek black, shadow head nudged his leg.

I look up. " a cat.. Do cats like pumpkins?" I asked myself, and got up. I scratch my short hair, not asking anymore.

I bit my lip, as I willed the cat to look up, it's face blank, no eyes, just cruves, no real nose, like a clay toy, made of shadows, soild and strong. and tinyish. I felt a bit tried, but frouced it away

I shrugged and start walking around the umpkins. I was so curious sometimes!

I smiled, letting the cat turn back into shadows, "Like my Pumpkins?" I asked smiling down, My long ink black hair hung lose and hung in the hair

" Those are yours?" I asked, looking at the girl. " I guess I like them. I never had the chance to see a lot of those in my life, actually"

I shook my head, "Me neither, I just found some seeds, so I bought them and tried to see if they made" I said smiling softly.

" Interresting" I said " Where do you come from, if you almost never saw some?" I asked, curious again

I shook my head, "I'm from Mississippi, I seen them. but I've been here for about eight, or nine years now.... so. Don;t have them much here"

" Oh. I guess so.It's true I've never seen any around here since I first came" I said, a smile flotting on my lips

I nodded, "And now you have" I said, sitting up right in my tree, my black hair falling to my back, almost to my waist I had cut about a foot off not to long ago.

" So you're from Mississipi. What's your name? Who's your god parent?" I asked, sitting next to her.

I smiled, "Colby daugthter Nyx, goddess of night, and yours?" I asked smiling. My pine colored eyes shined.

"Sazanami, son of Isis. I know she is a goddess of Egypt, but it's more complicated." I said, not wanting to explain more.

I nodded, "Sounds cool" I said smiling. Moving some dark hair behind my ear, "I have a friend, she's part Eyptain" I said

" Nice" I said, passing a hand in my strange white hair. " What's her name?" I asked. Maybe I knew her. Egypt wasn't that big.

Giggleing, I shook my head, "Naomi, her dad's half Epytain, part Hawiian, she's from Hollywood, Cali though" I said smiling. My green eyes shone, as I made a tiny camal from and walk arcoss my lap, and onto his knee.

" Oh" I simply said " What are you doing?" I asked, again, curious
