Shooting Some Arrows.

I Get my bow and arrows out and shoot the bullseye five times in a row.

I wandered into the archery range with my old bow and arrow. I was never that good, as demonstrated by my hitting the outer edges of the target. I failed to notice Jake also practising.

I smiled, lowering my bow. "Oh, Mr. Perry. I didn't see you here. I was just taking some time to try and hone my skills with a bow. Which seems to be a useless expenditure, but an interesting one anyway. I must apologise for my odd behaviour earlier. I was... ill," I explained, sighing.

"Its ok dude! I'm pretty good with a bow you want my help?" I shoot another bullseye.

"Okay here put your arm like this and then don't take your eye of the bullseye and DON"T pull back to much." I then shoot another bullseye.

I did as he instructed and hit close to the bullseye, grinning. "Thank you!" I said happily.

I fired another arrow and hit the bullseye. "So, Mr. Perry, tell me about yourself," I asked.

"I'm Just a normal Florida dude. I like surfing and writing. I live with my mortal mom and my grandparents. We have a summer house in California. I like archery. This is my second year at camp half-blood and i find it freaking hilarious you call me 'Mr. Perry'" I start to laugh.

I chuckled myself. "Well then, Jake it is," I decided, looking over at Matt. "Is he a friend of yours?' I asked.

I give Matthew the stink eye.
