Alexia is Hurt!

I nod grimly. "Once. Fields of Asphodel."

I shake my head, thinking of my next question. W-w-why? I ask, barely being able to choke out anything else.

"No idea. i was on a quest, that's all i know. It was so cold...no sun" I shivered, as if cold. ""It made me weak..."

I try to shake the image out of my head- my brother Seth- MY Seth in danger's way in the Underworld. On a lighter note, anything new? I ask suddenly.

I shake my head. "nope. same crap new day. still messing with Ares and Hermes."

I smirk again and laugh feebly. Any good pranks today?

I shake my head. "Not without our mastermind. Just another couplet curse, but it didnt last long."

I smirk and let out another quiet cough. Soon enough, I'll be out of this Hades-hole, and I can get back on my feet with that.

I nod. "hey, i heard Mr. D filled the strawberry fields with pumpkins. I havent been down there, because i came here." I reached for my camp necklace, and showed her a black bead with a pumpkin on it. "My first year, the sons of Hermes filled the entire campground with the wretched things. it would have been alright, if the monsters in the forest didnt eat them, and start attacking campers. big monster hunt.

I try not to, but I begin cracking up at the image of giants eating huge pumpkins. Would you like to show me after I can walk again? I ask quietly, still cracking up.

I smile. "Sure."

I laugh feebly again and make a quick decision. I lean over to the right side or the cot and try to find the floor with my feet. As soon as they reach the cold ground, my legs turn to jello and become shaky.

I get up and catch her before she falls. "You're in no shape to be trying to stand. Try sitting first"

I roll my eyes but listen to his advice. I sit down, and the shakiness moves to the back of my mind. The pain was central now, but I wasn't about to tell him that. I would never be allowed to move if he knew...

I smiled gently. "Baby steps, sis. You'll be up in no time."

I roll my eyes and hit his shoulder as hard as I can which is about the equivalent of a pillow hitting the ground. "Soon, I'll be strong enough to get up by myself, and you'll be running all over Long Island Sound looking for me," I tease.

I smirk. "eventually. I cant sit in here forever. you're just lucky i have nothing to do, little sister."

I scoff in disbelief. "Are you kidding me? I'd rather be cleaning up after the pegasi than be sitting in here! Even after I'm out, I'll probably be put in a cast or wheelchair or crutches or something. I sigh quickly, passing off the sudden stab of pain for a sigh.

I nod. "Probably. better safe then sorry."

I shake my head and lean on my brother for support. "So what do you want to do while you're here? I don't want to just sit here."

"It's not my choice. it's yours." I hold her up

I laugh and nod quickly. "So what will you allow me to do in this Hades-hole that won't fatally injure me? No rock climbing I assume?"

I laugh/ "Anything, so long as you think you can handle it"

My eyes, out of habit, roll again. "My gods, will you please make up your stupid mind already?" I fume humorously. I look over to the door and try my most innocent expression, which was pretty convincing for a 15 year-old. "is there any chance, dearest brother, that we could go outside?"
