Alexia is Hurt!

I laugh feebly and shrug my shoulders, which seemed to be healing as well. Play you favorite song. I want to evaluate your mad skills.

I smile at the two "father" and "daughter" singing and playing together. The sound of the music calmed me as I drifted off into a light sleep. I could still hear the music, sort of like background elevator music, but my pain continued to ease away.

I make my way into the infirmary, seeing Alexia sleep on the bed. I brsh a stray strand of hair out of her face. "Get well soon, little sister." I sit next to her bad, content with staying there for a while

Even in my sleep, I feel warmth on my face, and I hear a distant voice, which I could easily recognize. The music still playing in the background, I smile and try to talk, but my mouth can't find the strength to move. I simply let the smile speak for me as I drift even deeper into my well-deserved rest...

"ill be herewhen you wake. sleep well." I sit next to her bed.

After about an hour of rest, a stabbing in my side wakes me up. As my eyes open alarmingly, I try to look relaxed for everyone else, using my own weak supply of healing powers to dull the pain enough that I can sit up a little bit. I smile brightly as I see Seth sitting beside me. Thank you, Seth I whisper, still exhausted, but awake enough to focus.

i smile as she wakes. "How are you feeling?"

I cough slightly and try to mask the intense pain swelling in my side. I've been better. I laugh and lay my head down again, keeping my chocolaty brown eyes intense of Seth. I force out a smile and look down at my blood-drenched Sting t-shirt. I'll probably have to go get changed soon, though. I don't want to be freaking out new campers for much longer I add, pointing to the direction of a small boy with brown hair, maybe eleven or twelve, who came in for a moment, saw me, and ran out immediately, covering his mouth as if about to vomit.

I laugh. "Oh dont worry about the newbies. they'll face much worse before Hades claims them. Need healed?"

My eyes drift back to my wound, but I reply, I'm good, I think for now. I don't wanna wipe out everyone who comes to see me. I laugh at Sabrena and shrug my shoulders feebly. I don't know. Any guesses, Seth? I smirk over at him as if thanking him again for bring here.

I laugh loudly, feeling a thousand times better. No! It's great. I needed something to cheer me up. Thanks, Sabrena. I smile brightly as I try to keep the joy of having a cheesy joke told to me.

I laugh even more, and some more color returns to my cheeks. That's great, Sab- I get caught up in a coughing fit, and I try to get out of it. Unsuccessful, I try to even the few breaths in between my cough/wheezes. I sit up and lean on Seth for support.

I catch my breath, suddenly exhausted, and I put my hand out to reach Sabrena. Relax, I whisper to my sister. Go prank some Aphrodite kids, or write a poem, or do something productive. I shall be fine. The words taste like vinegar in my mouth. I didn't want her to leave, but I'm not going to take her life away from her to watch my heal in a hospital. Maybe I'll see if I'll be okay enough to move back to our cabin soon. I look around, seeing a couple kids in casts, splints, or cautiously drinking sweet nectar. This place reminds me of a morgue, I say to Seth, smirking a little bit.

I nod. "I can see what you mean. wait til you see the Underworld. that place is ghastly." I shiver a little bit, then smile, glancing at a window. "At least you can see the sun. What are we gonna do with you if you keep ending up here?" . I grinned, teasing

I look at Seth, now a little bit scared. You- y- you have b-be-been there b-be-e fore? I shiver, now feeling nervous for him. I then smirk at Sabrena and roll my eyes.
