Opinions about the movie

i agree my boyfriend and i saw it on v. day and it sucked

Comparied to the books it did suck. But as a movie on its own i didnt mind it.

I thought it was pretty good. They couldn't keep the 12 yr. olds because, well, I know I wouldn't want to see 3 twelve-year-olds running across the screen. It'd be boring. They couldn't keep in EVERY single part, and they had to make it appeal to all ages.

if you compare it to the book i hate it!!!! but i like the movie but Annabeth seemed too well i didn't like her in the movie but good choice of Luke he is exactly as a pictured him so was Percy but younger they were both very attractive.......

I totally agree. My whole family thought it was such a great movie. I on the other hand in my own opinion thought it was terrible. Then my dad said I had bad taste in movies, that's just because he hasn't read the series. They didn't even mention the "Big Three" pact that they had and how Kronos was planning to come back from the pits of Tartarus. They also didn't show the Capture the Flag scene where Percy finds out he's the son of Poseidon. They just gave it to him. The didn't mention the Great Prophecy, and in the movie when Percy arrived and then left that night. It was a good couple of weeks when 'Book Percy' got a quest and left. And if you watched the deleted scenes on Blu-Ray, there are a whole lot of sexual content for a book series like this. I'm just going to stop right here before I keep rambling on and on. I just hope they give more detail in the sequel, if they ever make a sequel.

it was nothing like the movie, for example Percy is 12 in the book, but in the movie something like 16, and there was no hydra, the lotus casino part was funny though, the 70's guy was hilarious.
