Apollo Cabin

I walk into the cabin and sit on my bunk. I straighten out my AC/DC t-shirt and take out The Iliad, one of my favorite books. Not so much because of the romance, but because of the action and violence. I look around and pull my legs up onto my bed and open my book.

I walk back into the cabin, looking around to see if my siblings were around. I spot Alexia and sit next to her on her bunk. "Good book?"

I jump up, surprised, and sigh when I realize it's only Seth. Yeah. I'm at the part where Paris is trying to kill Achilles, but he doesn't know how. It's pretty funny, 'cause the reason Achilles didn't get the help of the gods is 'cause he killed the priests of the temples of Apollo. I close it and smile, knowing an epic fight would break out soon in my book.

I peer out of the bunk space and look up. "Way to teach Achilles a lesson, dad. No one messes with Apollo" I lean back. "So, what have you been doing around here besides reading? I've been all over the place!"

I laugh and pull up the sleeve on my right arm. All over the top of my arm are scrapes and scars. A little battle training with some siblings I pause, and some Aphrodite girls. That was fun. And some Ares sons. Now that was some good practice.

I nod. "Showing them not to mess with Apollo? I'da loved to be there.. crack the whip on some Ares kids." I laugh

I look at the boy and laugh, making a muscle with my arm. Hades, yes! I laugh. Seth, you would have loved it. Three at once. They thought I was just some helpless fifteen year-old Apollo girl, but you shoulda seen me.

I shake my head no at the boy. "I dont care who's "hot" or not. I'm just sick of being thought of as medics only." I turn back to Alexia. "I'm sure you we're great sis. Aphrodite's kids aren't very aggressive, but Ares is."

I nod at Seth. The ones who really know us know how much more than that we are. That's what matters. When they need us, they are at our mercy. I smile slightly, trying to lighten the mood. It was pretty funny though. The beauty queens were out before they could throw a punch. I love messing with them.

I nod slowly. "Hey, not all Aphrodite's children are pushovers. Their Cabin Leader's actually smart for a child of the love goddess." I poke her side. "When will I get to own Ares in Capture the flag or a chariot race? I think Katie and I make a good chariot team, we competed together last time I was here. I made it my job to take Ares out."
