Emily had been having a great morning so far. She had woken up early on accident and had cleaned her room. She helped around the cabin before thinking of the amazing to go to the beach. Not to the beach at camp, a beach with people other than demigods. Or even the pool, whichever was easier. She was on her way to the Mess Hall to grab a quick breakfast before loading up her car to be on her way. She was excited, and she thought maybe she could see someone in the Mess Hall and bring them with her.
Emily packed her bag quickly before making her way to the Mess Hall. She was going to eat first before going back to her cabin to pick up her bags. There were already a few people in the Mess Hall already eating. She sat down at her table and got chocolate chip pancakes with a glass of orange juice. As she ate, she looked around the Mess Hall. She was in no rush, there was no point. It was in the middle of the week so there wouldn't be much traffic. Besides, she didn't want to go the beach or pool alone. That would be boring.
After she finished eating, she got more pancakes and made her way back to the Zeus table. She noticed someone sitting there and smiled. She didn't know if they were her cabin mate or from another cabin. It didn't matter. She sat down across from the person and set her plate down. "Hey." She said before taking a piece off her pancake with the metal fork.
Cressida woke up from her stomach growling at her. She was hungry and needed food in her life. She went to the bathroom and bushed her teeth. After that she brushed her hair nicely, but she stayed in her pajamas because she felt like she didn't need to get all fancied up. She had no plans for today, at all, and she was probably just going to go to Daniel's cabin and sleep side by side next to him. She walked back into her room and put shoes in and she walked out.
It was a cool morning and she headed for the Mess Hall. She was really hungry that she might of just ran inside. There wasn't that many people there yet. She was up early so she could get the good food. She grabbed a plate and put bacon, waffles, strawberries, and yogurt with granola. Cress walked over to her cabin table and sat down in the middle of it. she went to go get a glass of orange juice. she came back and started eating. She felt like she was eating like a pig because she was really hungry that she thinks that she could've died. She was eating until she heard a girl say hi to her.
She swallowed her food and smiled. She looked seeing it was her cabin leader "Hey Emily!" she said. She always seen Emily around, but she never got to talk to her half sibling. Emily was beautiful and amazing to Cress. She had the blonde hair and blue eyes that Cress didn't have. The last time Cress talked to Emily was when Emily stopped her from almost killing Daniel when he came back.
Emily loved spending time with her half-siblings. It was part of her job after all, and she loved it. She got bond with them more and help them. It was the best job she could probably ever have. "How are things Cress?" She asked with a smile. Emily quickly finished the rest of her breakfast. She preferred to stay at the table with Cress then actually go train or go back to the cabin. The last time she had talked to Cress was when her boyfriend and her had made the little kids in the cabin wake up. Emily instantly smiled. "What happened with that boyfriend of yours?" She asked still grinning widely. She could barely remember the night because she had still been half asleep. She just vaguely remembered yelling and most of the little kids walking into her room to ask if they could sleep with her. It was pretty hard to fit at least ten kids into queen sized bed. She took up most of the bed herself. "Are you guys even a thing?" She asked excitedly, her eyes widening a bit.
Cress smiled at Emily and took a drink of her orange juice. "Things are going great! How about you!?" she asked Emily. She was happy to talk to her half sibling. It was just go good to have brothers or sisters, and you get to know them and all that good stuff. Cress chuckled "He just made me mad. he left without saying anything then he shows up at the cabin." She said remembering that day. "And yes, we are still together." she took a sip of orange juice. "I know you and Tobias are doing good. I actually met him." she said nudging Emily. Tobias and Cress met at the beach that one day and they were playing volleyball. He was nice and sweet and he seemed good for Emily.
Emily smiled back at Cress. "Things are going good. Nothing much has changed." She said with a small laugh. Emily frowned. "Ah, that sucks. But at least he's back and safe now." She said with a grin. Emily didn't want to mention that she heard what he had said to her before saying I love you. It was best to keep some things to yourself. Her smile couldn't have been any bigger when she mentioned Tobias. "Oh really? What'd you guys talk about?" She asked slightly nervously. Then the idea of going to the beach appeared in her mind again. "Hey Cress. Do you want to go to the beach with me? Like outside of camp? We could do something else if you wanted." She suggested. This was the perfect time to bond with one of her siblings just the two of them. Maybe, just maybe, they could pretend to be normal teenagers for just a day.
Cressida smiled "That's good. Things are nice and calm." she said to Emily. [color:26c8=1e90ff] "And yeah, but sometimes he drives me crazy. You know how they can be." Cress chuckled knowing that she could relate to Emily because they both were in a relationship. Daniel was perfect for Cress, and she loved him. She could see them having a life together and that was good for Cress. She didn't want someone who she was just with, good thing she had Daniel. "Well we played volleyball and then we got to know each other. Then I started saying how great of a cabin leader you are, then he asked what cabin and that's when he figured out I was your sibling." Cress drank her orange juice and finished it. Cress was listening to Emily and Cress cut her off not letting Emily finish what she was going to ask "Yes! I need to get away for a couple of hours. The beach will be fine." Cress smiled at Emily "Sorry. I just need to get away." she looked around and whispered "Some of these people are boring." Cress laughed.
Emily smiled at what Cress had said. "Yeah, I definitely know how they can be." She said with a small laugh. "So how long have you guys been dating? What's his name?" She asked a bit more excitedly than she should have been. To Emily, this was what quality time with her half-sister. It was rare she ever got to actually have a sit down conversation with one of her siblings. "Oh that's nice." She said her British accent suddenly getting thick. She smiled again when Cressida said yes. "I understand. We could go back to the cabin together and get ready. We can take my car, and we could even stop to grab some snacks." She suggested, switching back to her American accent. Emily was excited for the beach. She could barely remember the last time she had gone off campus. It was rare she ever go to do anything. She stood up from her chair before saying, "Ready?"
