cath stuck the paint brush in between her lips as she reached for a clean one. in one hand she held four brushes, there was one behind each ear and now, two in her mouth. clearly cath was going to need to acquire a few more arms. she smacked and smashed a brush into the canvas that sat on the easel in front of her. the vermillion mixed with the titanium white to create another happy little cloud as cath let out a sigh of relief. done. she'd been sitting on the cold sand for a little more than three hours trying to capture the amazing sunset that lit up the horizon.
as she attempted to stand up her knees buckled, leaving her in a pretzel-like state on the sand. "frickin' legs, never frickin' working properly. goddammit," cath swept the sand off her ass and everywhere else it was stuck to. her eyes scanned the area around her, her face grew red as she noticed the girl not even fifty feet away that had seen her fall. she adjusted her beanie, as if she was trying to hide her face. outfit

Taylor Monroe roamed through the forest. She held her sword out, read to attack anything that came near her. Ever since Kalina had been murdered, people just did not feel the same, walking through the forest. Including Taylor. She used to love the forest, but now she was not so sure. Whenever she asked herself why she even went into the forest in the first place, she did not have an answer for herself. She did not know why.
The daughter of Poseidon had been walking along the Zephyros Creek that afternoon, but then she strayed off it slightly. She needed to make her way back to the Cabins before something else happened to her. Sword brandished, Taylor walked into a clearing and stopped by a tree, leaning against it. In the clearing, she saw another camper painting. She could not help but wonder what the girl was painting. She did not say anything because she did not want to interrupt her.
Taylor watched the girl look up not a minute later, after trying to get up and falling to the ground. Most people would have laughed, but the daughter of Poseidon understood. Taylor smiled at the girl as she blushed. She sheathed her sword and started to walk towards the demigod. When she was halfway across the clearing, she made a point in waving, as she said, "Hi there. How're you doing?"
