Cas,
Cas tossed and turned in her sleep, restless, even in resting. Her fidgeting, was subconscious, yet a side effect of her sleepy cries for help. As if Cas would ever cry for help. In her dream, everything seemed to be floating. This was rather disorienting for Cas, considering she barely ever had any dreams. Her dad was there, and he came into focus before the background did... He was reaching out his arms to her in the kitchen of their London home, smiling a bright smile and saying “Come here Cassie girl. Come give Papa a hug.” Julius was the only one allowed to call Cas ‘Cassie’, ever. He could have called her anything he wanted, Cas wouldn’t have minded. It wouldn’t lessen her respect for the man who was more of a father than Zeus would ever be.
Cas mentally smiled, warmed by the thought of the only person who really cared about her, but the warm feeling was replaced with mixed feelings as another figure appeared... This time her real father. Zeus. He was out of focus, so Cas couldn’t see his expression clearly, but she could hear his words cutting like a knife blade through her body. “He’s not your real father you know.... I am.” Cas wanted to cry out in anger, and lash out at Zeus, but she couldn’t, because this was just a dream.
Zeus dissapeared and Cas sat up straight in bed, as awake as she ever had been. Awake enough to realize that she was sleeping in an actual bed now, in an actual.. place? In reality Cas didnt know what this place was... Or where she was. Cas frowned, loooking at the kid peering curiously at her. ”What are you looking at?” She demanded, not knowing that she’d been out for a good day and a half.

Trace Finch
i’ve had the highest mountains, i’ve had the deepest rivers, you can have it all but life keeps moving
Trace lets out a sigh as he leans back in his chair. Sometimes he hates infirmary duty, which is shocking. It's fun when it's busy and there's lots of stuff to do. But lately, camp has been safe and the only person who's spent any time in the infirmary is a girl who's been unconscious for thirty six hours. It's not exactly thrilling, actually it sucks.
Needless to say, Trace easily finds himself drifting off. In fact, he falls asleep his head slumped forward. He's out for a good hour or so, before he is woken up by the sound of a person. Very disoriented he jumps up an looks around. That's when his eyes land on the girl, so she's awake. He carefully studies her for any signs of what was wrong. At the same time he moves closer to her.
"Hey"he says quietly, "You're in the infirmary. You were out for about thirty six hours, but it's okay, you seem perfectly fine"he tells the girl as he comes to a stop next to her bed. "I just need to run a few tests to make sure. Is that okay with you?"he asks, a small smile on his face. "I also need to know if you remember what you were doing before you blacked out"he adds as he takes out various medical instruments.

Cas,
Cas felt frustrated. More than frustrated. Furious. Cas through that word around a lot, and this might not have been the most appropriate placement of that word, but Cas would use it to describe her emotions at that moment. She wanted to get out of here, she wanted this boy to leave her alone, she wanted him to stop watching her sleep. Cas frowned, instinctively moving back from the boy as he inched forward.
As the boy started to talk, Cas realized she had no idea what happened. Something about a guy named Chiron and gods or something. Cas blinked several times in confusion, trying to separate her dreams from reality. Gods? Was this some kind of religious camp, Cas furrowed her eyebrows at the idea. Growing up in modern day London, Cas had always been skeptical of religion and it wasn’t about to change right now.
Cas raises an eyebrow at the boy. He was about her age, with spikey blonde hair a shade darker than her own and a soft smile on his face. Cas couldn’t tell if he was being nice for the sake of being nice or because he wanted her to cooperate. She didn’t really care about his intentions either. Instead of answering his questions, Cas dodged around them, a skill she had learned in primary school. ”Who are you and what are you doing here?” Cas blurted out before he had the chance to say anything. One thing Cas had learned to do when she was in an unfamiliar environment is never let that fact be know. She would never ask where she was or what she was doing there, although this tactic didn’t always work so well in her benefit. She didn’t like the sound of these tests one bit, but Cas would play along for long enough to hear him out. ”What kind of tests?” She asked, crossing her hands over her chest. She certainly was not going to play any sort of ridiculous lab rat game with this boy.
