Vi Ingles I've been thrown off every ship that I know how to steer!
I was wandering through the woods. Never would I have thought that something so beautiful could be so dangerous. Except for in the camp. Everything stocked in the forest was intentional put in there by the camp. Nothing could get in unless it was summoned. There was a howling noise coming from behind me. I started to run. There was a crack of thunder and I looked up. Water hit me face. It was raining. I didn't mind the rain. I shoved my hands in to half-gloves that protected my hands from electrical shocks from my gloves. I had my hand half way in to one gauntlet and the other was trailing out of my bag. The sound of cracking twigs and brush being pushed aside made me look up. I clenched my fists and stood ready. Something was coming. "It better be a friend." I muttered to myself.
Beanie If you can't have Scott McCall, why bother?

Quell Malcolm
Quell had been walking around the forest, just thinking. In a way, it felt good to be isolated for once. Quell had always enjoyed being on his own, but the silence allowed his own thoughts to run free - thoughts floated through his brain, despite Quell's attempt to control them. Think of that - Quell didn't have control of his own mind, how could he pretend to lead his siblings? The thought was ludicrous and it tormented Quell. No matter how hard he tried, he'd never be as good as Faye, he'd never be able to have that same sense of self control or that ability to rally troops. Maybe Quell could be a commander, an advisor, but he wasn't a leader.
The rain started and Quell almost tripped over a rock, angrily kicking it aside. Quell was always angry these days, and it was starting to change his ability to neutralize and hide his emotions. Where his calm manner had once balanced his twin sister, his nature fought hers. As he picked himself up (having been pushed to his knees by the wind and the surprise of tripping over the rock), Quell spotted a figure moving around the first. The ran grew heavier by the minute, but he pressed on, holding his hand to the hilt of his knife, although not drawing it just yet. "Hello?" Quell said into the thick rain, drifting closer. "Who are you?" Quell was louder this time and he drew his knife, gripping it at his side.
