APPEARING AS... KALINA NIKOLOVA

there's evil in your heart,
and it wants out too play...

It had taken a little longer than she had expected to be able to slide up to the tables in the mess hall and grab some armor. People were crowded around all of them, blocking her path, and she'd been attempting to stay in the shadows as much as possible. It had begun to clear, however, when demigods ran to the forest to take their places with their team, and for some, be sorted into certain spots.

When it thinned, and only a few stragglers were left, she emerged from her place in the shadows and darted forward, grabbing a red plumed helmet and some armor. She already had a weapon, a celestial bronze sword she'd found in the arena for this very purpose. It had the same style as the one which her recent victim had. And, since she was now imitating the poor girl once again, she was trying her very hardest to appear as she would.

She'd moved quickly, strapping the uncomfortable and heavy armor over the tight black jeans and tank top she wore. She brushed the long, brunette hair she was unused too to the side, and carefully pulled the heavy metal helmet over her head, straightening it easily and putting one long fingered, delicate hand up too touch the plume of stunning red. The hairs were coarse underneath her fingers, and she quickly pulled her hand away with a curl of her lip.

It wasn't like she'd intended to attend the capture the flag game. Her point was too cause chaos, destruction, and she was too do that as slyly as possible. She'd succeeded too, in keeping a low profile. It was easy, when she had so many images stored in her head which she could use. Likenesses of people who hadn't walked this world for hundreds of years, who were long dead and gone and who she could still imitate. But she slipped all too often. It was too tempting, and she had long been a victim of that deadly sin. Temptation and impatience... they were a bad duo.

Finding out about the capture the flag game had thrown her into turmoil. She could stay low, stay hidden, stay safe and complete her goal easily...

Or, she could take the visage of the girl who'd been her ticket into camp half-blood, and cause chaos within the game itself.

She'd chosen the latter.

After she'd gotten her helmet and armor, it had been simple to slip into the ranks of the red team, getting lost in the crowd. She had even caught a glimpse of the girl she was appearing as, giving orders to a young boy. It had brought a smile to her face, to see that girl so casual, so calm, no idea of who was only a few feet to the side of her. Too soon the crowd of demigods had moved her along, and they were stood together, awaiting the sound of the conch horn.

And then, suddenly, there was the horn, and the sound of running feet, as demigods surged into the woods. But, instead of going to same way as them, she had gone more too the left, disappearing into the foliage.

She wasn't lost. Rather, she was heading in the same direction as them, just more... hidden route. But the sound of bushes moving behind her was enough to make her twirl around, leveling her sword to the chest of the figure who'd appeared behind her.

'Who are you?'
