Brief History: Nicholas grew up in Miami, Florida with his father, James. James was an author until Nicholas was six, where he completed his famous series, Shink and Shrink. There were a total eight books. When he was six, he became a fisherman, often going out to sea. Nicholas never liked the beach or the sea, though. He in matter of fact, hated it.
He grew to be a smart boy. One day, when he came home, he found a note saying his father had gone fishing. Nicholas took care of himself that night, though not very good, since he was very dependent. He had spilled soup and ruined his dad's favorite plant. A satyr came and knocked on the door that night. He answered, frightened. The satyr said that he was a demigod. He explained thoroughly.
Nicholas agreed to go to Camp Half-Blood with him, but he'd have to tell his dad first. The satyr said there was no time for that, and to just write him a note. It hurt Nicholas to not say goodbye, but this seemed important, so he wrote a note and left with the satyr.
Halfway to camp, the two finally got to introductions: the satyr's name was Robert. Robert, when at camp, took Nicholas to Chiron's office, where he was claimed by Athena.
Nicholas looks forward to camp.
