"People sell them to witch doctors who use various organs for rituals." I say. At the mention of witch doctors Max gets out of Vivienne's grasp and runs around screaming like crazy.

"Oh, well that explains why Max is screaming..." I say, chuckling a bit.. I put my hands over my ears, trying to block out the sound.

I take a small apple out of my pocket and chuck it outside. Immediately Max stops screaming and runs after it. "After having a monkey on your back for a couple years you learn to keep snacks." I say chuckling. Max walks back in, both arms around the apple. He throws the apple up to the top bunk, climbs up, and begins munching on it.

"Huh. That's funny. I didn't really know monkeys liked apples!" I say, smiling at Max as he munches on the apple. I take a peek outside. It was bright and sunny as always. "Since it's such a nice day out, we should get out for some fresh air..." I suggest.

I hop off my bed. "Well monkeys will eat just about any fruit or vegetable." I say "It's just in their natural habitat all they have is bananas." I grab my hat and my staff and head towards the door. "What a wonderful idea, I've been wanting to get some fighting practice in."

i walk passed the cabin door. ' peaple in there must have alot of friends." i mumer to myself.

I came in. I'm here for one month. and have no friends. They say I have to stay here until my god parents say I'm her or his child!! Well, I'll go see if I'm somewhere else.

Walks in with hair blowing the slight breeze.
"Hey guys!"
Other campers stare awkwardly.
"Wow..that was a warm welcome. I'm Liv. (Liv smiles warmly) Oh c'mon somebody must remember me..."
Other campers still stare on.
"I was cabin leader...? I've only been gone 2 years! Alright...Suit yourselves."

Max Taylor Muro
Jackson, after stopping me by Chiron and giving me a quick tour, brought me to the front of what I assumed was my new cabin. Out of the twelve main cabins, scratch that; out of all of the cabins, this one was the most run down. It's once-nice paint job was peeling and chipping, and it looked like someone had patch worked the roof; there were so many holes that had been covered up. But even so, it looked...homey. Or, more average, less god-like. It reminded me of a Girl Scout camp I had gone to as a kid. The only think that set it apart from little girl's sleep-away camp cabin was the golden caduceus that hovered above the door. As a matter of fact, I loved it.
My awe-struck thoughts were interrupted though as Jackson introduced me to the building. "Alright Max, this is Cabin Eleven, the Hermes cabin. It's pretty crowded right now, but it's been thinning out as the minor god's children have been moving into Hera's."
"But Jackson," I asked, "If I don't know who my god parent is, how could I move into a god's-"
"All of the unclaimed demi-gods chill here until their parent decides to reveal themselves." Jackson interrupted. He shot a quick glance at his watch. His eyes widened a little bit as he took in what time is was. "Damn. Oh, I mean dang." Jackson quickly corrected himself as a younger camper gave him a look. "Sorry, but I'm late to meet up with the Counsel. Satyrs are supposed to check in when they bring a new camper in. I've got to go. Later!" And with that he trotted off. It was still rather odd to see Jackson as half-goat, but I supposed I would get used to it.
I hurried up the stairs with my duffel bag on my shoulder and opened up the door. "Hello?" I noticed that there were good bits of floor claimed by sleeping bags and swords. I would have to ask my mom to ship my sleeping bag to camp. "Hello?" I asked again.

I jump excitedly seeing the new kid. "HEY! I'm Liv. I'm cabin leader- I mean I used to be cabin leader here. Who are you?"

As a girl jumped up to greet me I rose my hand in my usual two-fingered salute. "Hey Liv, cool to meet you. I'm one of the new girls around here, Max. Any idea where I should throw my stuff?" I looked around the cabin, hoping that there was a corner open for someone to chill in. If I was going to sleep on the floor, I would hope that it is in a corner. If you get ahold of a corner, you'll have more space, as it looks.

I thought to myself 'Hmmm I like this new chick' I then say outloud "Haha chill kid no need to salute me. I'm not THAT special. Wanna Coke? Sure ya do. *toss Max a Coke* Hmmm. Where to put you...You could always share my room with me! There's even an extra bed in there."

Liv's hospetality took me a bit by surprise. Normally, I would take a little more than introducing yourself to get a Coke offered to you. But than again, a large camp full of demi-god kids and teenagers isn't exactly normal. I cracked a smile as Liv made a joke about my salute. I didn't really think about when I salute, I just did. It was a habit formed when I was a munchkin. I was really surprised though as Liv offered to let me take the spare bed in her room. I fully expected to be sleeping on the floor for a while. I figured I would be liking Cabin Eleven if everyone was as cool as this girl was."Woah," I said, sounding oh-so-intelligent. "that's sounds awesome. Thanks very much! How'd you manage to get a room to yourself?"

"Well it's my old room. I used to be cabin leader and when you leave on a quest it's traditon that nobody can take your room. It just has to sit there. Kind of honoring you and keeping people aware that you're gone." I take a couple steps and grab Max by the hand and pull her in my room. "See, pretty nice digs, eh?"

"Ya, you could say that." I said to Liv. It was a pretty nice room, and much better than sleeping on the floor in the main cabin. "So how long have you been hanging around camp?"

I yawn as I open the front door of Cabin 11. Home sweet home, I think as I move my way through the mass of demi-gods laying all over the place. I mutter some "heys" to some of the campers I recognize. I finally made it to the same bed I've had since I was 12 and began to unpack. There were a couple of new kids this year. Couldn't tell which were minor kids and who were actual Hermes kids for some of them.
After unpacking I sat back on my bed and let my eyes close. God, I'm so fricking tired.

When Liv mentioned that she had been around for 13 years, I had to admit, I found that pretty interesting. 13 years was a long time to hang around one camp. "13 years? That's pretty crazy." I then opened up the Coke that Live had tossed me a few minutes earlier. Though to the surprise of myself and the guy on the bunk next to me, the Coke was stuck half-way and it spewed all over him."Oh my gods, man, I'm really sorry about that!" I said once I realized what happened.
