| Yep for those of you who are unaware, the 4th book of the Heroes of Olympus series, the House of Hades, was released yesterday, 8th October :D

| Omfg I found it that it was coming out this month yesterday during band so I looked it up during study hall, found out it came out yesterday. I then went home called shopko to make sure they had it and then sent my mom to buy it.
I started reading at eight, read to 1 am. Then I read this morning, during my study hall and then a bit in English and finished it.
I am in love with this book and omfg I don't think I can wait a year for the next one. | |

| thats because percy isn't supposed to be the MAIN character anymore. he had book 2. But this is supposed to be them as a whole, and lets face it, Percy isn't the strongest anymore. Frank is insanely strong, Leo is crazy good, Piper is clever, Jason is a great leader with fighting skills, Annabeth is the weakest link(SORRRRRRRRY), and Hazel is pretty good. and omg... DID ANYBODY READ THE JASON NICO MOMENT! I WAS LIKE "WHAAAAAAT" | |

| when i meant doing better, i didn't mean more powerful.
i meant that they were improving at stuff and learning new things but he wasn't. its kind of frustrating because its like his character paused developing?
plus even if he isn't the main character one chapter out of the whole book isn't that hard pfft

I don't think his character paused developing Rick just had a lot more main characters to develop. Personally I think percy had like a whole series to get to the point he currently is and in recent books Rick has been trying to bring up the remaining major characters up to his level | |

I actually really like a lot of the characters, but I just think that Frank and Hazel aren't necessary. Like they're cool characters and all and I like them, but I don't think that the team really needs them. | |

and piper was basing her ideas off of annabeth's doing, so don't you dare tell me she is the weakest link.
also, i don't think anyone can ever be as much of a hero as percy. sure everyone else has cool powers too, along with smarts and such, but percy has been there forever. jason won't ever be that for me, maybe because he seems too perfect, along with piper. i haven't seen the flaws in them that make them good characters.
