I closely watched the fast-moving fight. They seemed to be pretty evenly matched, despite the Japanese kid's boasting.

First rule of battle strategy: never let your opponent into the secrets of your skills. Okay, maybe that's the second or third rule. But its important. And they had both just broken it. Some experts. I hoped one of them would come out alive so I could give it a shot.

I turn my head for a second, realising our spectator is still there. Suddenly the bo strikes me multiple times and I fall down. ''ow...ow'' I mutter and stand up. Ducking the last of his bo strikes, I sweep my leg at the back of his foot tripping him up.

utilising a quick move and my slightly superhuman strength(there were definetly perks to being a demigod) i plant my bo under me and balance on it.
recovering i drop to the ground and say "nice move but be more vigilant."

OOC: you didnt exactly describe your state of being for this. are you in armor? what are your weapons? do you have a shield.
for me i have a katana and a wakazashi and no armor. no shield either.
