Looking for people to duel.

I walked into the arena casually looking left and right,Awww no one here.So I decided I'd practice.I quickly summoned my cestus and started punching the snot outta the dummies usually destroying them on the first hit.`J

I take slow deliberate steps into the arena and look at the otther camper. '' You looking for a fight'' I ask slowly. ''Cause I sure am''.

Bor-ing. My life was bor-ing. Even around here, where supposedly life is one big monster fight, I was bored. I wandered into the arena, toying with my sword, which was strapped onto my side. Up ahead, I saw a couple people, one of whom looked familiar. As I drew closer, I realized why. He was one of my dozens of siblings. Alec? Alex? Couldn't remember.

The other person was ripping up dummies. I made my way to a bench nearby and casually sat down, sitting down cross-legged, my feet not touching the ground. Maybe I could learn something by just watching.

(Ooc: hope you don't mind me joining in. :) ))

OOC: I dont mind.
BIC: I glance at my sparring partener one more time and break into a run for him, drawing my two daggers strapped to my belt in to process.

"konichihua" i say to the girl sitting on the bench. "This is the arena correct? Im new here."

why not? just join in.

''yeah this is the arena but it looks like that other guy's too distracted with his dummies. You wanna duel?'' I ask

"why not. i need some entertainment." i say, bowing to my opponent. "your move."

I bow back and pull my two knives from my belt, holding them upside down as usual, and make a duel slash at my opponents chest.

one quick motion. i pull out my sword until the butt hit my opponent, knocking him backwards, without fully unsheathing my sword.

I stumble back a little from the blow and fall, rolling into a handsprain and landing on my feet. ''quick move'' I say to my foe and charge him. I feign a slash at his stomach and pivot on my right foot placing me behind him, and then I puch him in the back.

i disappear in a swarm of butterflies. as they surround my opponent i take the opportunity to attack. one of the butterflies in the swarm flies to my open hand and transforms into a katana. i take a slash through the swarm at my opponent.

The new guy was fast. I leaned forward, attempting to track his movements as they dueled.

''you're preety quick'' I exclaim to the other deulist. ''what god are you child of?'' I block his swing with my left dagger while bringing the right one to stab at his side.

"Bishamonten." i say, well out of the reach of his small daggers.

''huh???'' I say scratching my head. ''isn't... he like... the japanese god of war?''
OOC: Bishamonten is from buddhism so...

"I'm amazed you know (i know you looked it up). that is correct." i say taking his suprised opening to strike him with the flat of my blade.

I duck his blade and take another swing at his legs this time. ''So... HOW?'' I ask.
OOC: I only looked it up to be sure but i acctually did know who bishamonten is form a game I played.

"you think the Greeks are the only ones whose gods exist?" i say skipping back a few steps. my weapon dissipates into the cloud of butterflies only to reform into a dual-bladed naginata.

'' I never actually thought of it that way... It makes senes'' I exclaim. I then jump and bring down my knives to my foe's chest as I fall.

i easily deflect and then plant the naginata in the ground where my opponent is going to land.

''this isn't good...'' I mutter. I quickly sheath my right hand knife, then grab the Naginata as I fall, swinging around it and kicking my opponent.

grabbing his foot i toss him against the nearest wall. "I am a japanese swords master and a black belt at 7 different martial arts. I've trained with the best. you cant beat me."

I spin so my feet touch the wall and push off so I can flip back upright. ''I'm a master battle strategist and expert knife fighter... so I think I stand a pretty good chance here'' I reply.
