We meet again. [Calypso and Deimos, private to Vina]

I finally put down the handmade floor brush, and surveyed the area I had cleaned so far within my home, the cave at the center of my island. I had servants, of course. They would cook for me, clean for me, do whatever I needed to be done. But a lot of the time I preferred to clean my home myself. This island was my birthplace, and my prison. I cared for it as I would have cared for it had I not been imprisoned here. 
The two beds within the cave were made and tidy, in their usual corners. The floor was as clean as possible, and the tables and shelves and such were dusted down and clear. Some items were stacked on a chest and a chair, and slowly I made my way over to them, intending to tidy them away quickly and go out to my flowers, to tend to them and plant some more Moonlace. 
I was wearing a white knee-length dress, with a low neckline trimmed with gold. The sleeves were small, and also trimmed with gold, as was the hem of the dress. My shoes were small tan sandals. My caramel colored hair was hanging loose around my face, out of its braid, in lots of curls. It didn't bother me too much.
"CALYPSO, ARE YOU THERE?"
Jumping, I looked around. I hadn't been expecting someone, although the Gods sometimes came without announcement. It was unprecedented, and I smoothed down my dress, and regretted the choice to wear my hair down. The braid would have been much neater. And when meeting a God, you had to look your best.
As my visitor appeared, I sunk into a low bow, without taking much look at who it was. However, when I came up, I smiled widely at my visitor. I had not thought he would be back after so little time. Although, given how time passes here, it may have been longer where he was. Yet, here he is.
'Deimos! It is a pleasure, as always. I apologize for the state of my home. I was in the process of cleaning, and afterwards I was going to work in my Garden again. But I can of course halt what I am doing. Please, feel free to take a seat. My hand-servants would be happy to get you a drink or some food...'
I couldn't voice it, but Deimos was one of the few Gods I would call a friend. All had visited at some point or another, but not all would be called friends. Deimos was at least honest. And good company. 
But no matter how much you count someone a friend, they will always be Gods. And you must always show Gods respect.
It was a lesson I had learned through my time on the island, and I kept to it strictly.
Moving to the table, I moved some small bits from it and put them on a shelf, clearing enough room for him to sit down and be able to have a drink or whatever he wanted.

Smiling brightly to Deimos, I turned away to continue packing away random items at super-speed, making my little home presentable. The table had already been cleared, so I just cleared around it, stacking things onto one of the beds and some other shelves. After a few moments, I turned back to him, my smile slightly shy now.
'And I don't know how many times I've replied, but I'll always show Gods respect. And that means bowing to you when you arrive.'
I was pretty sure that Deimos would expect others to bow to him. I may not have know much about the Modern World, but that was one thing which I didn't think would have changed. But each time, I was told the same thing. And each time I would reply with the same answer each time.
I obviously couldn't watch my servants, but a Pepsi was brought for Deimos. Thankfully, it had not been shaken up. Too many accidents had happened with the "Fizzy Drinks". They got shaken up and they would explode on the opener. I myself had been a victim of it one too many times.
But, Deimos' is not shaken up. Which is good. If it had been, and it had exploded, he would need to leave...
'Could I please get a water?' I asked quickly, making sure that they would still be in earshot.
While the servant went to get the water, I paid more attention to Deimos again, only to laugh at his question. Even to my ears the laugh sounded kind of hollow, and I slid onto one of my chairs, sitting down at the table.
'How have I been... well I've been the same as I always am. Perfectly fine. I clean my home, I care for my plants... I have recently planted some Bleeding Heart near the edge of the meadow. Gods and Goddess' come and visit every so often, although you've been one of my most recent visitors. My life doesn't change very much, from day to day.'
That sounded bad, even to my ears...
'I do not mean to sound ungrateful Deimos. Or annoyed, or angry. My life is happy compared to the lives of others. I receive visitors, I get to care for my plants every day. Sometimes though, I would like to see the outside world. I would love to see how it has changed,' smiling slightly, I looked up at him, 'But all in all, I am fine. How have you been?'
