It was time to branch out! Sure, Helena was good at drawing dark things from the bad parts of her heart, but she was above that now. But, people in motion were hard to crate properly... But... didn't she have people she could use to practice right here in camp. So one day, while Lykos was busy in the infirmary, the blond made her way to the Sports Area. Sitting in a section away from them, but close enough she could see all of them, she whipped out her sketch pad.
It wouldn't take long to get a couple of poses and sketches down. This was, actually pretty fun!

Zach woke to falling off his bed. He had rolled over and hit his head against his nightstand. Nice way to wake up idiot, He thought. He rubbed his eyes and got off the floor. He went to the bathroom to splash his face with cold water and got dressed. He walked over to the Mess Hall to get breakfast. When he got to the Mess Hall he walked straight into the door. Nice again idiot, He thought. There wasn't much for breakfast, so he just piled on food onto his plate. As soon as he got to his Cabin's table he ate the food under 5 minutes. When he finished his half-siblings looked at him with amazement. "What? A guy can't eat?" He asked with his eyebrow raised. He took his plate and cup and put it on the counter with the other plates and cups. All the plates had scraps on them except for his.
Zach calmly walked back to his cabin after breakfast. When he got back he brushed his teeth and sat on his bed. He looked around and saw that the Demeter cabin was empty. He was the only one in it. He sighed and put his basketball sneakers on. He took his basketball out from under his bed to head to the courts.
When he eventually got to the basketball court. he saw that it was filled with people. He somehow found some people to play basketball with and started playing a game. His team of course was winning. When Zach was in school he was the best. Then finally when someone dropped the basketball it bounced it's way out the door. Zach (the one who lost rock, paper, scissors; he was not the best at this like basketball) went to go get the ball. When he found it somewhere in the bushes he started to bounce the ball on the way back to the basketball court. When he threw the ball up to catch it, it accidentally hit someone on a skateboard in the head. He walked over to the person and said with an apologetic smile, "Sorry."

I was having a very uneventful day. Waking up in the Hermes Cabin (Again, I might add), I'd gotten up to find that one of the Pranksters had put milk in my shoes. Gone off milk. I'd needed to dig through my trunk to find the pair of worn white converse I was wearing now. There were some grass stains, and some stains which looked like oil ones? Anyways, the shoes were stained, and my other ones would never be suitable for human wear again. I'd thrown on a clean white shirt, practically no sleeves on it, and tied it around my stomach so that at the front it had a sort of bow thing. Then I'd put on dark navy short shorts, slightly ripped, though I didn't know was that the design or had I done something to them. Then I'd tied on some leather bracelets, slipped on a ring saying "Not All Who Wander Are Lost", and pulled a navy beanie hat on over my wavy brown hair. Before one of the Hermes Pranksters (I was probably most worried about the one named Faith, who'd been the one to put the milk in my shoes) could do anything to my american styled skateboard, I'd picked it up and off I'd gone. In the Mess Hall I'd grabbed a Muffin and a cup of coffee, eating the Muffin- which had turned out to be blueberry- as quick as possible and continuing on with my coffee. Now, about five minutes later, I was skateboarding by the Pits, as I called the Sports Pits where Basketball and Volleyball were played. Taking a sip of coffee, I realized sadly that the drink was nearly gone, and slowed down to scout for the bin I knew was around here... That was when the basketball hit me in the side of the head and I tumbled off my skateboard. Luckily I was beside grass and fell onto that. Unluckily it was a tumble and I turned once, twice, three times before coming to a stop, beanie hat lost around the same time as the skateboard. The ball bounced once, twice, and came to a stop. 'Ow.'

Helena had been halfway through finishing sketching the girl on her skateboard with her coffee, when the ball smacked her off her board, sending her tumbling down the hill. Thankfully, all that time with Lykos in the infirmary had given her a certain reflex to help, and she was at once jumping up from her seat in the grass. Designer boots clapped against the pavement as she hurried to the girl's side, ignoring the probably grass stains she would get on what looked to be rather expensive jeans.
"Hey, hey, you okay?" she asked, at once trying to remember what they did when someone got hit in the head. "What's your name?" she asked, looking down at the demi-goddess in the grass.

Zach had watched as the girl tumbled off her skateboard and down the hill. Along as some other random person tried to help the poor girl. Of course, Zach felt sorry for, but at the same thing thought it was pretty weird that she was holding coffee in her hands when it happened. Hopefully, the coffee didn't spill on the girl's face. Zach ran after the girl and saw the coffee cup had spilled near her skateboard where she wasn't there. Zach looked around the skateboard and found the beanie. He slid down the hill on his bottom to the girl. "Sorry." He said his voice sincere. He tried to help the poor girl up. "Are you okay?" He asked.

The first thing I saw lying on my side was what looked like expensive boots. Very expensive boots. And very expensive jeans. Had an Aphrodite Child come to try give me fashion tips? Had an Aphrodite Child stolen my beanie? It had happened before. 'Hm. Possibly,' I told the expensive legs. Feminine. Obviously a girl. Unless guys suddenly wore boots. Or I'd been conked hard enough to be unconscious. Would I know that though? 'My name... is... Sonic the Hedgehog,' I muttered, rolling over and sitting up to look at the blonde girl near me. There was also a guy, and without me asking he helped me up. He'd apologized, but I waved it off. Accidents happen, right? Right. Who cared I'd fallen off the skateboard. Worse things happened. Though there was this insistent throbbing in my head, and a ring in the ear which had been smacked. It'd go away soon though. Hopefully. 'Thanks.' Then realizing what I'd just said to the blonde, I turned to her. 'I'm Shay. Not Sonic.' Was he holding my beanie? He was! Well at least that hadn't been lost. And my skateboard... turning around I spotted it a little ways away, my coffee beside it. Well. Looks like I wouldn't be getting another sip of that nearly gone precious mineral. But the skateboard wasn't damaged. That was good.

Helena made a face when she answered Sonic. Really? She couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic, or funny, or if she was concussed. Where was Lykos when she needed him! But the interaction between the boy who'd cracked her in the face and her finally giving her name, made her relax a little. "We should still get you to the infirmary, just in case. The last thing we want is you to have a brain hemorrhage or something." Standing up, she dusted the grass off her jeans lazily. She didn't really care if she stained them, she'd wear them anyways. But if her mom found out, she'd take them and buy her a new pair. Most orphans would LOVE to be adopted by a rich couple who'd spoil them. Helena liked simple things, though she did love the couple who'd taken her in, so she put up with it.
"I'll buy you another coffee or something if you go." She said, crossing her arms. Maybe Lykos was still there. Shameless excuse to see her boyfriend? Nah, she could go anyways. She just wanted to make sure the girl was okay. Turning to the boy, she frowned. "You should be more careful." Helena..didn't like most boys.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Sonic the Hedgehog." He said and smiled. Well, obiously her name wasn't sonic, but the other girl didn't very much appreciate it considering she made a face. But when the girl mentioned the infirmary Zach shivered at the thought of going there. He hated that place with all his heart. He swore never to go back to that place ever again. Plus she looked fine anyway. "I doubt she can get a brain hemorrhage just from falling off a skateboard. I'm no son of Apollo, but she looks fine to me." He said and shrugged. Zach gave the girl her beanie and got up to get her skateboard while the girl kept on talking to her. He got the skateboard and went sliding down the hill again about to knock into them but stopped himself before he did. "Here's your skateboard." He said handing the girl now introduced as Shay her skateboard. Zach rolled his at the other girl as she said, "You should be more careful.""Sure." He said in a sarcastic tone to the girl.

'No! I don't need the infirmary. Swear,' I rushed, getting up quickly and tapping my head. 'Solid as a brick I am. I've fallen off the board so many times that this barely counts as a fall.' Turning to the guy, I raised an eyebrow, taking my beanie and putting it on my brown hair before someone could actually see me without it. Also taking my skateboard, I held it under my arm carefully. 'Thanks. And really, the coffee was almost gone anyways, so its not a real big loss,' I smiled to the girl, touched she actually cared even if I was refusing help. Jumping in for the guy, I shook my head. 'Not all his fault. I'm the one who was skating with a cup of coffee in my hands. If anyones to be more careful, tis moi.'
