Aurora gets some clothes and an unexpected surprise...

I walked out of the changing room, wearing a pair of skinny jeans and an orange camp half-blood t-shirt. The shirt was about a size too big, so it hung loosely around my petite figure. Thankfully, this camp store had clothes, anticipating that new kids would not have any. I turned to Treston with a smile. "Okay, how about this one? This good too?" I asked. I had tried on at least ten different outfits so far, wanting to get myself more clothes than I had.

I sighed and nodded, I wasn't enjoying the shopping so a looked around and seen something I liked I picked up a black cowboy hat with a gold and red band and put it on my head before returning to Aurora.

I laughed, seeing the cowboy hat on Treston's head. "It suits you," I said. I tucked my blonde hair behind my ear, gathering all my new clothes. I went up to the cashier, paying the amount of drachma and watching my new outfits being put into a bag. I smiled and grasped the bags by the handle, turning to Treston with a nod. "Your torture is over now," I added with a grin.

I like the hat, but I put it down. and smiled as we walked out of the store, I ran my hand through my short cropped blonde hair. then I rubbed my brass ring.

I continued to run as fast as I could, my feet kicking up dust. I looked down at the sheet of paper, reading the address and nodding. 'This is it...This is where Aurora ran off to,' I thought. My whole body ached from exhaustion. I had been chased by these...things since I left my house to look for my friend. I heard a growl behind my and I turned around, my brown eyes widening in fear as I watched two weird, black dogs chasing me. 'What are those things?!' I thought frantically. They were unlike any dogs I had ever seen, and when I was around people they thought they were cute pug puppies. I wasn't sure how hey saw them that way, but they were no puppies. I saw the two hounds gaining on me and I picked up my speed, feeling like my feet weren't even touching the ground. I looked up, seeing a sign ahead of me. It read Camp Half-Blood. 'What kind of camp name is that?' I thought. My face was covered in dirt and grime and my shirt was stained crimson from the cuts I had received on my journey here. "Almost there!" I screamed. My voice was shaky and weak and I was completely out of breath. My spiky brown hair was matted with dirt and blood. I'll admit, it wasn't the best I had looked. But honestly at this point...I didn't really care. Only one thing kept my attention and kept me going through the pain and exhaustion. 'I have to find Aurora..' I ran past the pine tree and the hounds seemed to stop chasing me. They growled in frustration and stalked away, disappearing into the shadows. I stumbled forwards, falling onto my knees. I glimpsed a girl with blonde hair and teal eyes I immediately recognized. I smiled, collapsing to the ground. "I found you," I croaked before my vision darkened and I fell unconscious.
I followed Treston out of the store, carrying my bounty of bags. I heard someone yell the phrase "Almost there" and I glanced over at Treston, a curious look on my face. I recognized the voice. 'No...it couldn't be...' I thought. I turned seeing Mikey running towards us. My teal eyes widened in horror as I saw his major injuries. I watched him collapse to the ground, too stunned to speak for a moment. I dropped my bags to the ground, rushing towards him. "Mikey!" I screamed, my voice cracking from the tears that rolled down my face. I tried to wake him up a moment before I slung his arm over my shoulder, trying to pick him up and carry him to the infirmary. I looked over at Treston, my eyes pleading. "Help me get him to the infirmary!" I snapped, my voice sounding desperate.

I stared in shock at Aurora, Mikey that was the dude she was talking about yesterday, I rushed to him, and slung him on my back, his feet dragging the gound, I was strong, but i wasn't strong enough to carry a guy as big as me to the Imfirmary, My face went back to the serous expression I uselly had on. as I dragged him off.

BIC: I helped Treston carry Mikey to the infirmary, my gaze slightly blurred and my mind dazed. Questions rolled through my mind as I walked, seeming completely unresponsive. 'What is he doing here? How did he get here? How was he allowed to get through the border? Is he a demigod too?' I thought, overwhelming myself with the constant questions. Don't get me wrong, Mikey was my best friend. But I've kind of kept myself distant from him after he told me I was like a sister. But I was still happy to see him...if he wasn't torn up and unconscious that is...

I Looked at Aurora, almost afraid she would passout to, I was worried, but I had no expression. "Aurora, are you alright", as we entered the Imfirmary

I let Mikey lay on one of the open cots, nodding my head slowly. "Have you ever had the feeling that you're drowning? Well..that's how I feel seeing Mikey again. He's my best friend and I've liked him since I was thirteen. But...this camp is supposed to be a new start. How did he get in here anyway?! The border doesn't let humans in!" I exclaimed, my emotions boiling again. I turned back to Mikey, watching as the nurses and people tended to his wounds and fed him ambrosia and nectar.

I frowned, "Well, he's a halfblood if he got in here" I walked over to Aurora, "He'll be fine, and it is a new start" I said a rubbed the brass ring more.

I shook my head, staring down at my friend. "I hope you're right," I said with a sigh.
I stirred, hearing voices around me. I slowly opened my eyes, my gaze blurry at first before I looked up at Aurora and smiled. I tried to sit up only to feel a shooting pain throughout my whole body.
I took a step closer to Mikey, gently caressing his cheek with my thumb and I ran my fingers through his brown, spiky hair. "Don't try and move..you'll be fine but you need rest," I said with a sigh.
I nodded my head, my gaze flickered to Treston and I frowned, glancing back at Aurora. I smiled as I looked up at her before shutting my eyes again and falling asleep.

I sat down and leaned back, frowning, I looked at Mikey. then to Aurora, "Heal his head, so he'll wake" I said flatly, I stood up and walked off, I returned a few min. later with Aurora's shopping bags, I sat them down by the chair.

I watched Treston leave before shaking my head. "He needs rest..." I said with a sigh. I pulled a chair near his cot, hesitating before I grasped his hand. I had an anxious look in my eyes as I stared down at my sleeping friend. I turned my gaze to Treston with a smile. " It's sweet of you to stay. But you don't have to if you don't want to," I explaied with a sigh.

I shook my head, "I'm staying, it's what friends do, plus got to have someone keep you compamy" I gave a slight smile.but my eyes stayed guarded.

OCC: I picked the last peach on my peach tree and as soon as I did it started raining, so I played in the rain. Oh the wonderful life of the countrey girl.

I smiled faintly, turning to Mikey as he began to wake up.
I stirred, slowly sitting up in bed. I rubbed my aching head, turning to see Aurora and that other guy. 'Who is he? Why's he with her?' I though curiously. I decided it best not to ask. "So this is where you ran off to," I said, glancing around. "Well, as cool as this is you have to go home. Everyone is worried about you," I said.
I shook my head. "I can't leave...and neither can you," I said. I turned to Treston with a grin. "Would you like to explain since I don't perfectly understand myself?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

My smile dissappered, and I nodded. "Sure Aurora, Well one of you parnets is a oylpain god, because as weird as it seems they're still here, and when Aurora left, you followed her, and I'm sure you've met some.... weird things, and that's because they smell your blood and want to kill you, you've made it this far so now you are stuck here and we will train you how to kill monsters, and if you call me crazy then I'll give you sword and let you stand out side the boaders, then you'll believe me" I said this kinda slow letting the words soak in and makeing me sound very seiors. My bright blue eyes dull and meniacing.

I stared wide eyed as Treston spoke. 'I have a god for a parent?' I thought. I looked at Aurora. "He's kidding, right? I mean...there's no way we can stay here. Your mom is worried sick about you and my parents would be worried too. I have to get you back home where you belong...not in this place," I sad, glaring at Treston
I shook my head. "I can't leave and neither can you. You'll her killed if ou honour into the world," I said. "We both belong here," I added with a smile.
I shook my head. "No way, I'm getting you out of here. You don't belong here Aurora! You belong back home with me and your family," I said, my tone completely serious. "As soon as I'm better we're both leaving," I said, my reddish brown gaze fallig on Trseston, almost like a challenge.

I let out a deep chuckle, "I dought you will, from the boader you can see the monsters. And I dought you will just get Aurora to just walk out of here" I said a small smirck on my face, I sat up stright and sighed. "But your free to try" I said My tone flat, but testing.

I shook my head. "I like it here, Mikey. And you will too! Treston, Arron, Penelope, Destiny, Lexis, and I all went out on this huge fishing boat in the middle of the lake. It was so fun. Mikey, there are people that understand me here!"
I frowned. "Aurora, I understand you," I noted.
I smiled, reaching out to take his hand. "I know you do. You always have, but that's because you're a demigod like me. It's going to be great, I promise," I reassured.
I sighed, shaking my head. I then looked up at Aurora when she took my hand. She was always doing things like that...taking my hand, running her fingers through my hair. In all honesty I liked it. I've known she's had feelings for me for years. However, it wasn't until now...seeing her with this Treston that I felt like I didn't have her full devotion. And it really bothered me.

I smiled lightly, and lent back some, I took out my seacth pad, I started drawing a lily. "I'm Treston Conners son of Zeus" I frowned, "I guess, Aurora, you might want to tell hiim you parnet is"

I stared at Treston's drawing a moment before I nodded. "Right, good idea. I'm a daughter of Apollo," I said with a proud grin.
I glanced between the two. "Then...who am I? Who's my parent?" I asked.

I smiled, "Um.... I have no clue" I said not looking at him, "Therefor your in the Hermes cabin" I said a crooked grin on my face, I looked at Aurora and smiled.

I sighed, obviously still not believing either of them. "Well what do I do now?" I asked.
I smiled sweetly, my teal eyes gleaming. "Rest for now, Mikey. Treston and I will go buy you some clothes to wear at the camp store. Once we're done I'll bring you your things and we'll see what to do after that," I said. I bent my head down, gently kissing him on the forehead before turning to Treston. "Tome fr more shopping. Except this time, you're the model," I said with an evil grin, hooking my arm with his.
I narrowed my brown eyes, glaring at Treston. 'Why is she going off with him and not staying with me?' I thought bitterly. I scowled at the new target of Aurora's affections.
