Kenz walked up to the amphitheater stage, holding a new cithara that she had, um, "liberated" from a museum exhibit. It did say, "Property of the children of desire," which did pertain to her. It just said it in Greek. And was covered in a glass case. And security guards.
Kenz began to doubt the methods of the Hermes kid who had gotten it for her, but what's done is done.
She strummed it lightly, surprised at the condition it was in. That is, it felt very new. Maybe the touch of a demigod made the magic return to it. She strummed a chord and matched it in pitch.
"Love wraps around us all,
As summer turns to fall,
So kiss me today,
As the leaves fall away,"
She sang the tune loud and clear, hearing the beautiful music reverberate off the amphitheater walls.
