Words (camcam, Summer and I)

Down by the harbor, it was fairly quiet. The sea was calm and seemed to be aligned perfectly with the horizon. The sky was littered with clouds and a cool breeze blew casually along the streets. Parker walked alone, her sandals making no noise against the floor below. She stood at the very beginning of a peer. She saw a girl, a red haired girl sitting by the water's edge, her feet dangling in the water. She met her eyes and looked away, the girl seemed to beckon her to come closer. Parker shifted her feet slightly, it was likely a trap she knew that. So she stayed in position, for now simply watching the girl. Further up the street there was a commotion that caught her attention, when she turned back, the girl was gone.

Parker let out a soft sigh, turning around and jumping back in surprise, the girl now stood before her, ruby red lips curved in a grin, she could not have been more than a few feet away. Parker scratched her head slightly, watching the girl, ready to fight, when another commotion caught both girls attention.

I walked along the pier, nothing in particular to do. I didn't see many people around. I wasn't paying attention where I was going, and ran into a pole. I fell into the water. O swam around, until I found a place where I could climb up to get out of the water. Wwhen I got back onto the pier. When I did, I saw two girls looking towards me. I waved and kept walking, trying to avoid they're gaze.

Brooklyn was finding a place to get out of the water without any mortals noticing her. She had been floating under the currents daydreaming, when she suddenly noticed that were wasn't at the beach in Campus anymore. She was duly unworried as it is, since she had nothing to fear of the ocean. She could breathe, and neither did she get wet.

She looked around for a place to get ashore, and there was a dock nearby, so she swam towards it, careful to stay a few metres under the water, so as not to be spotted by people on boats. As she neared the dock, Brooklyn saw a girl sitting at the side of it. Great, now how do I get on shore keeping a low profile? She could always wait, but it was getting late, and she'd be in trouble for leaving camp.

Parker took the distraction as a sign from, someone. She took a few steps back then ran forward, thrusting her shoulder into the red haired girl. This caused her to stumble and it n doubt made her mad. Parker didn't have time to worry about upsetting her, she rammed into her once again, this time her attack was stronger and she forced the girl into the water. Parker watched the water for a few seconds, before backing away, turning to move quickly down the pier away from the scene.

I saw one girl knock another one into the water, and I chased her. I didn't see the one now in the water do anything wrong, so I chased after the one that knocked her in. "Hey, you stop running. Why did you knock that girl down?

Brooklyn was just deciding to find another place when there was some sort of scuffle between the two girls, and all of a sudden, something crashed into the water right at her. It was the red-haired girl, she was struggling in the deep waters of the harbour. Immediately, Brooklyn broke to the surface and commanded, "Stop moving." The girl ceased her floundering and Brooklyn was able to grip the girl by the shoulders and pull her above surface, where she gasped profusely for air.

The daughter of Poseidon then willed the currents to push them towards the dock, where two other kids were standing, one apparently accusing the other of something, most probably questioning her why she pushed the redheaded girl into the water. Brooklyn treaded water by the dock, where the girl pulled herself up, dripping wet. Brooklyn herself followed suit, curious as to what happened, totally forgetting to wet herself, hence she was standing on land, dry as ever, after a 3 hour swim in the sea.

"What? good sir you know nothing about me...or what happened." Sarah says, seemingly offended by the boy's sudden appearance. She stopped in her tracks and folded her arms slightly, her lips pursed in thought "I don't have to answer you good sir, now kindly be on your way." Parker frowned as she looked the boy over, the young woman shook her head and turned away from the boy, moving away from him.

Meanwhile the red haired girl stood, seemingly confused by what had just happened, she stood behind Brooklyn. Then when she thought no one was paying her much attention, she moved forward and attempted to sink her teeth Brooklyn's shoulder.

"Answer my questions!", I moved towards the girl again faster this time. I walked infront of her, and blocked her way. Then I saw a different girl being bitten on the shoulder. I pulled my bow off of my shoulder and shot the thing biting the girls shoulder.

(( Cam, she didn't bite Brooke's shoulder. ))

Brooklyn noticed another sudden movement and sensed danger. Instinctively, she dodged away from the girl she just rescued, saved from being bitten on the shoulder. "Aaah empousa!" Brooklyn yelped, sweeping her hand across, sending a powerful jet of water at the creature, blasting it back to the edge. The guy then shot something at it, and it fell back in, screaming. Brooklyn didn't bother to save it this time, it would've been stupid.

She turned back to the other teenagers and looked at them curiously, all too aware that she had just used her powers in front of them. Surprisingly, she wasn't bothered by it, in fact, it seemed to her that those two had the look of knowing something, not like ignorant mortals.

Parker was still, rather annoyed at the boy and when he released the arrow. She brought the palm of her hand around to strike him across the cheek. If it hit it would no doubt leave a mark. Parker shook her head "some people are just so rude!" She mutters to herself, pushing past him she moved over towards Brooklyn, if only to see if she was ok. Once close she gave the girl a polite bow "Miss, are you ok?"

The girl in front of me slapped, and walked towards the other one. My cheek now stung, and was bleeding a little bit. "Okay really, I did nothing to you, why did you slap me" I shouted after her. Iwalked towards the girl who was almost bitten. "Hey, are you alright."

Brooklyn was confused. Then she saw the girl slap the guy, then walk towards her. Then she smiled and assured, "Whoa, chillout. It's okay, I'm all right. Things like that happen. Empousai are creepy." She could hear the girl thrashing about and trying to get back up to the dock again. Brooklyn ignored it, but gave herself a self-note to get away from it before it did.

"I'll take the chance and assume you guys are demigods," she grinned. Brooklyn wasn't too concerned if they weren't, since she could always manipulate the mist and be on her way.

"I am indeed Miss...Sarah Parker daughter of Hecate, I'd like to know who you are....boy I don't realy care for your name." Parker spun around around on her heels to face him. "You want to know what you did...you blocked my path multiple times, you didn't even ask my name or kiss my hand like a gentleman." Parker says an annoyed look upon her face "and further more your social etiquette is appaling."

"Well at the time, when I didn't know that girl was an empousa, I thought you had pushed an innocent girl into the ocean. And by the way, I am Taylor son of khione." I said coldly. I knelt down, and kissed Sarah's hand, just to spite her and stood back up. I looked down into the water and let loose another arrow towards the empousa.

"I'm Brooklyn, daughter of Poseidon. But everyone calls my Brooke/Brook." Brooklyn smiled at the two other demigods, trying to ignore their rivalry, disliking to get caught in between disputes. "So... what are you two doing out here?"

"I was walking...until the Empousa came...then of course the boy came." Parker says casually gesturing at Taylor. Parker cleared her throat "at any rate it is a pleasure to meet you Miss Brook." She says, turning her back on the Boy. Parker tilted her head "enough about me...what were you doing out here Miss Brook?"

"I'm just here, because I can be. I have no particular reason to. So why are you here?" I said pointing towards brooke. I glared at Sarah, and wanted to hit her like she did me, but I did not hit girls unless they hit me more than once.

"I kind of... drifted out by accident." Brooklyn admitted awkwardly. It sounded weird to her too, she just wanted to jump back in and swim all the way back to campus in embarrassment. But it would be even more disturbing if she met them in camp later on.

At the corner of her eye, she saw the empousa grabbing hold of the side, and trying to hoist herself up. "Er... I think we should kind of.. go. Before that thing comes at us." Brooklyn suggested matter-of-factly.

Parker looked over the edge of the pier. She looked down at the empousa and nodded slowly "yeah...I agree...lets get away from here." Parker hummed softly, she looked over at tylor, shook her head then moved towards him quickly, she kissed him on the cheek were she had slapped him "sorry about that good sir...I was kind of angry at the time." Parker says, wrapping her arms around him, pressing him against her busom.

"It's okay. Althoguh I must ask you to let go of me, because my girlfreind would not like this picture at all. I laughed and backed up a little. "So, since we're leaving here, shouldn't we kill the empousa so that it doesn't follow us to wherever we go. It doesn't seem to safe to leave her alive.

"Good point." Brooklyn wanted to just leave it there and run, but it might crawl up and start terrorizing the mortals. She flicked her hand and a huge wave sent the empousa tumbling head over donkey legs back into the vast ocean, shouting strings of curses amidst gargles of seawater. "Now we go." The other people there were already shooting them odd glances, but luckily, nobody looked over the dock to see the creature. Brooklyn set off at a steady pace away from the sea.

Parker nodded she moved away from the boy away from the dock with the other two young demigods. Her lips were curved in a small smile and she moved cautiously away "so where would you lot like to go...since now it looks like were stuck togethor."
