Hale stared at his sullen face in the clouded mirror, breathing deeply and sinking to his knees. Being alive again was almost as awful as being dead had been. He had completely forgotten how to take care of himself, and he was struggling to relate to anyone. His old friends brought back memories too warm to being anything but pain, and everyone else at camp made judgement. He was pretty sure they all assumed he was a murderer, although that was neither here nor there. The growing problem in the seventeen year old boy's life was that he didn't particularly enjoy being around people in the first place anymore. The once sociable young blondie had turned into a lifeless near adult searching for himself.
