Camp Half Blood Raffle

Hey guys! Sniggle here from the other side! And by other side I mean Alaska. :V ANYWAYS, to kick off the August Rush(teehee) we've created a CHB drachma raffle! The rules are simple: you give me all of your drachmas you pm one of the admins and tell them you'd like to buy a ticket. Easy, right? Tickets cost 100 drachma each, and, for now, you can only buy 1 ticket per raffle. Because this is the grand opening, Angel has graciously donated ALL of her drachmas to the pot! That's right, the MINIMUM jackpot is 2,053 drachmas! And the jackpot increases for as many tickets are sold. So if we sell 3 tickets, the total becomes 2,353. If we sell 30 tickets, the total jackpot becomes 5,053 drachmas! If we miraculously manage to sell 300 tickets, the jackpot becomes 32,053 drachmas! Not bad for investing 100 drachmas for a ticket, eh?

Anyway, you can begin buying tickets today, August 1st, and the ticket sale for this round ends on August 31th. Shortly after, I'll be putting the names of people who purchased tickets into a virtual randomization system called The Hat, and it will draw one name at random. That lucky person is the jackpot winner! Now, I'm sure you probably want proof that the drawing is completely random. So I've made a screenshot walkthrough of what happens with The Hat.

In our case, we won't be washing and repeating--the first name drawn will be our winner that month.

So, there you have it! Everything you need to know about the raffle. If you have any questions, I'm afraid I'm on vacation, but I will be back sometimes between the 3rd and 5th. That should give you plenty of time throughout the month to ask me the question(s) and buy a ticket! :D :D :D For this round, you can ask any admin that you'd like to purchase a ticket. They will inform me upon my return and I will add you to the list.

Bahhh don't even worry Summer. The system does all the randomization. I just have to click a button. .3. For the first few rounds I will probably take screenshots, just to prove legitimacy(BUT YOU SHOULD TRUST ME SOB).

Anyway GUYS COME ON BUY TICKETS YOU KNOW YOU WANT TOO, AND GAZ HAS BEEN SO KIND AS TO DONATE 1,500 DRACHMAS TO THE JACKPOT. So the starting jackpot is now 3,553 drachmas! And that's without the money from the purchased tickets. SO COME ON, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO BUY A TICKET. JUST A MEASLY 100 DRACHMAS AND A PM TO ANY OF YOUR ADMINS WILL GET YOU INTO THE DRAWING. :D :D :D
