Standing in the shadow of the Apollo Cabin wasn't really like standing in a shadow at all. Instead it seemed to be like approaching the edge of the sun, it was warm and sunny. Maybe shadows had been traded.for sunbeams as the reflected off of the greek style buding...if that was at all humanly possible.
Then again even humans weren't humans here. Everything was laced with the supernatural and that scared Helena. What more, the fact that she herself was tainted with extraordinary abilities was more frightening than anything.
But she could only remain hidden for so long. A daughter of Apollo was what she had been labeled and now after being claimed, claiming her own heratige seemed distant and difficult.
Added to this presure was the idea of brothers and sisters, Helena being an only child, devoutly close to her mother, she couldn't begin to decide how to act amongst her own siblings. But taking slow deep breaths and coaching herself to be calm in french whispers, Helena comfoted herself.
One step forward and a push of the door, the young woman from France swallowed hard. Maybe no one was here? She could find somewhere to put her things and then take the chocate her mother had made for her and go hide in the shade of a tree.
Helena didn't like the sun anymore, she couldn't shake the feeling that as it warmed her at the same time her Father's eyes were on her.
"Bonjour?" She called feebly, praying that no one would answer.
