JJ was pacing the beach, waiting on Derek. He'd left a note on her cabin's doorstep, telling her where to meet up. She was dressed as same old Jeanie. A pair of skinny jeans, a comfy sweater and borning but, practical shoes. She had her hair lazily curled hlaf way down. She didn't care for straightening it ever since she clamped her ear in the iron. She furrowed her eyebrows, looked around for Derek. He was supposed to meet her here at seven but, it was already ten after. Jeanie layed eyes on someone in the lake when arms grasped her from behind. She let out a little yelp before turning in the person's arms to face them.

Jeanie smiled and said, "Superman?" She pulled his hands away from her eyes and interlaced their fingers. Her hands were always cold, she hoped that didn't bother him. She had a low body tempature in general, thats why she wore sweaters so often. Jeanie played with her bow that was in her hair absentmindedly. Her ADHD was kicking in. She hated that. Jeanie smiled and started to walk with Derek. "Yeah, I like theme parks but, I'm terrified of the haunted houses." She placed her head on his shoulder and smiled up at him. Jeanie kept her head on his chest and started humming Your Song by Elton John. She closed her eyes, taking in the serenity. She'd never had moments like this, you only saw these in the movies. It was hard to believe this was really happening. She hadn't had a date since second grade when some kid took her to go see Shrek in theaters. "So, I'm guessing your driving?"

Jeanie relaxed at his touch. She started to walk with Derek. She could see the ticket booth ahead. She was slightly nervous but, not enough to stop her from having the time of her life. I ran with her. I paid at the ticket booth as they let us threw, "Ladies first, m'lady!" I said giggling. It was probably a stupid phrase but I did not care. I smiled. "How about we go on, the Loop-dy Loop?" I said. I pointed to the fast paced upsidown roller coaster at the end of the park that was seen from miles away.

Jeanie smiled and nodded quickly. "Come on!" She said, pulled on his hand again. She ran fast towards the large rollercoaster. She hadn't been on one since disneyland. She had been 8. Jeanie smiled up at the coaster. It looked so scary but, fun all the same.

I followed her seeing the coaster. I put her on my back and ran to the line. The people were just getting off. I kissed her on the lips and winked. "You ready?" I asked moving closer to the seats. I was a little nervous. But aren't men supposed to be the brave ones. Especially a Ares guy.

Jeanie was so excited. She laughed as Derek put her on his back. Her blonde hair flew behind her as Derek ran for the coaster. And, without warning, he kissed her. And it was over just as fast as it started. Jeanie nodded. "Ready." She slid off his back and into one of the seats.

I sat next to JeanieThe man strapped us in. I was shaking. I tapped her knee and smiled. I made a kiss gesture. But I was strapped in so I couldnt/ I stopped shaking. Its just a coaster.

The carts started to lurk forward. Jeanie started to move around in her seat, then she looked over at Derek. She smiled wide, then, the carts stopped. They were at the top. A 80 degree drop at 347 feet in the air. Jeanie squeeled just as the cart went over the edge.
