| Chrys Jayden Russell Daughter of Aeolus
Leaning on the fence that separated her from the pegasi, Chrys watched from afar as the winged horses sniffed the ground and paid her no heed. She hoisted herself up on the fence, barely balancing herself as she sat on top of it. After a few moments, she breathed a sigh of relief and settled on hugging her knees close to her chest, hooking her feet around the fence to prevent from falling. Maybe it wasn't the best sitting position as she faced the danger of falling off at any moment, but Chrys didn't really care. Or maybe she just hadn't thought of the consequences. Either way, she shifted her gaze back to the horses. Anyone who saw her could practically see the longing roll off her in waves, how badly she wanted to interact with them. Chrys was just that easy to read.
The pegasi continued to graze as if she wasn't there. Chrys wasn't bothered at all by the lack of attention, and had instead let her mind wander off into the realm of daydreams. It was a pretty normal sight, her zoning out. Off she went to a secret dimension where unicorns left rainbow trails and set off to the sky with her riding them. A wistful sigh escaped her lips as she thought of how awesome it would feel to be riding a horse up there in the skies. So absorbed she was in her mind's wanderings that Chrys barely realized that she had started to rock back and forth on her unstable seating. Still unaware of the danger she was in, she leaned forward just a little too further. The motion was enough to cause her to lose her footing and pretty soon she found herself falling face-first to the ground.
"WAAA--oomf!"
Chrys moaned a little, rolling over to her back all the while clutching her nose. It was the part that absorbed most of the fall and damn did it hurt! "Oooowwwwww..." Chrys uttered, willing the pain to go away. Gods, what if her nose was broken? Oh no, she really really hoped it wasn't. Hopefully someone had seen her fall and would go help. The pegasi must have, she thought vaguely, but she couldn't really expect a bunch of horses to go over and help her out of this condition. "Owww... help, anyone... please..." she said as she struggled to sit up but only managing to lift her upper body halfway through. |

| I walked to the stables. I always wanted to ride a horse or a pegasi. I wondered how it felt to ride one. I started daydreaming until I saw Chrys my friend. Then I saw her fall down. I rushed to her. What happened? I hope she didn't break anything or hurt anything. "Um... are you okay Chrys??" I asked. | |

Chrys's inner mind rejoiced once she realized someone rushing over. She was even more relieved when she recognized the voice. "Kaylee, my nose..." she mumbled in a quiet voice, not daring to speak louder as it causes more pain. With both hands still clutching her nose, she finally sat up, leaning forward to her knees.
"Do you have healing powers?" she asked faintly and hopefully, looking up at Kaylee. It was a long shot, but she guessed it would be better to ask. Chrys experimentally tried nudging her nose but she stopped after a few tries--the pain was just too much. Gods, maybe it really was broken... |

| I looked at her clutched nose. Was it broken? "Um...No. Sadly I don't have healing powers." I said in a sad voice. Then I remembered something. "I have a friend who has healing powers. I can try to call her." I said. I made sure there was no one to see me take out phone and then called my friend. She didn't pick up. I tried again, but after 3 rings she picked up. | |

Feeling just a little disappointed when Kaylee said she had no affinity with healing, Chrys pulled her knees closer to her chest and leaned her head on it. She gave up on massaging her nose. Just when she was going to say 'thank you', she looked up and saw Kaylee with a phone. Her eyes widened in fear.
"A-Aren't we allowed to use those?" she asked quietly, barely able to keep her voice from shaking. She looked around wildly for some sign of a monster approaching, but the only creatures there were the pegasi and they sure weren't paying attention to the two demigods. "Um... Thanks, by the way." |

| "Yeah, there not allowed but who cares? I'm also using it just for a quick sec." I said. When she picked up she said, "Hello?" "Hi Avalon. It's me Kaylee. I need you at the stables quickly." I said. "Uh..Okay. I'll try to get there as quick as I can. Bye." She said. "Bye and thanks." I said. Then I noticed a camper looking at me with my phone, ready to get Chiron to get me in big trouble. As they were going to get Chiron I quickly put my phone away so if he did come he wouldn't see me with my phone. "She said she'll get here as quick as we can. The only thing I suggest is to put ice on it." I said. I looked for ice and luckily found it. I took 2 ice cubes and a ripped a piece of a paper towel. "Here you go. Just put that on your nose until my friend comes. | |

Accepting the paper towel-covered ice, Chrys held it on her nose. She heaved a content sigh as the cold seemed to numb the pain. Looking up worriedly at Kaylee, she wondered why the older girl was going through all the trouble to even risk using a phone at her expense. It made her feel a little guilty, she had to admit.
"Someone saw you," she said. "Is... is it really alright?" Chrys's tone was anxious. Had she been too much of a bother today? She hoped not... |

| "Don't worry if someone saw me. Chiron sometimes lets me have my phone because he knows my parents are a bit overprotective. I'll just make up an excuse that my parents had to call me because of something important. Don't worry. He always believes my excuses." I said. I pulled down the bottom of my undershirt so it covered the top of my jeans. Then I saw my friend coming in a distance. She looked kind of relaxed. "Hi Avalon. My friend fell and hurt her nose. Can you fix it?" I asked worried.
I came over to the Stables to help Kaylee with something. What did she need help with? Was it important? When I started seeing them I made sure I looked relaxed. "Hi Kaylee. Let me take a look at it and maybe I can fix it." I said. I looked at her nose. Good thing she iced it. "Thanks for listening to my medical conversations Kaylee. Good thing you ice it in time. Just one thing, can you take the ice off your nose? I need to see your nose." I said. I sat down next to the girl.

Chrys couldn't stop the grin from forming on her face when she spotted who seemed to be an Apollo girl walking over. Thank the gods! She was saved! "Thank you sooooooo much!" she managed to say, talking to both Kaylee and the girl she heard to be Avalon. Obediently Chrys moved her hands and the ice away from her poor nose to allow the healer access. It looked a little dented, to be honest. She could even see it when she crossed her eyes and looked down.
"Can you fix it?" she asked, worried. With the ice and the cold temporarily gone, she could feel the pain starting to seep in again and it was all it took for her not to put the ice back. |

| "Um...Actually I can't. It's just a bruise. There wasn't a lot of damage to your nose when you fell. You just have to put ice on your nose for awhile. If it hurts more just call me. " I said. "Bye Kaylee. Have fun and be careful." I said like her mother would. I started walking back to my cabin.
"Thanks Avalon!" I yelled when she left. Then I turned to Chrys. "So what do you want to do know? Go back to your cabin?" It didn't really matter to me. We could even just stay here and ride the horses. I didn't care.

Chrys sighed, very relieved. She placed the makeshift ice pack back on, all the while grinning at Avalon. "Thank you again!" she called as the girl disappeared from view. "I don't know... I think I should take it easy... or something..."
She glanced behind her, seeing the pegasus from before completely unfazed by everything that happened. Must be nice to be a pegasus. You won't really have to care about what's around you. "Are there real unicorns?" Chrys asked hopefully from out of the blue. She turned to Kaylee with shining eyes. "I mean, pegasi are real, and so are satyrs and nymphs... What about unicorns?" |

| "Unicorns? I'm not really sure. Maybe we should look that up online or ask an Athena kid." I said and then shrugged my shoulders. Were they real? Maybe they were. I don't know, I'm not an Athena kid. It would be nice to find. Then I turned to Chrys. "Do you want to find out if unicorns are real?" I said with a smile. | |

An eager twinkle in her eyes, Chrys excitedly nodded. "Yeah! Then if they're real, we should go find one!" she said, not caring if she sounded so childish to the older girl. She probably sounded crazy too, but that wasn't her concern at the moment.
Chrys got to her feet, still holding the ice against her poor nose. Stealing a glance at the grazing pegasi, she said, "Then we should get a whole group of them to live in camp! Build a special stable for unicorns!" Her face brightened up even if the idea sounded a little absurd and impossible, but she turned hopefully to Kaylee, looking at her for reassurance. |

| Michael Ressen . 16 . Son of Athena He was walking to the stables to try and find his black pegasus, Festus. So far, he had seen no sign of him. Usually he could sense Michael's presence in the stables, but when he looked twice at the pegasi, they all seemed entranced by the conversation of two girls. He could only catch one word of their conversation. Unicorn. He didn't really know much about Unicorns, but it was said that the Romans used to use them. What for, he wasn't sure. And why these two girls were talking about, he wasn't sure about that either. But then again, a Athena child must know everything! He walked up to the two girls and introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Michael Ressen. Son of Athena," he rose one eyebrow. "Not to be intrusive or anything, but were you two just talking about unicorns?"OOC: Sorry if I intruded on something, I just looked at this and thought it'd be a nice place for Michael to get a RP. I can delete this though if you guys were on a roll. | |

Surprised but still equally happy for Michael's entrance, Chrys got excited beyond belief. A son of Athena! Popping up just when they were talking about one! The world really is an amazing place. Chrys shifted the ice on her nose a bit to show Michael the huge smile on her face. "I'm Chrys Russell, daughter of... well, I dunno yet but anyway! Yup yup! We wanna ask you something, if that's alright," she glanced at Kaylee for a bit before continuing, "Are... um... are unicorns real?" She looked hopefully at the boy, silently pleading with her puppy-dog eyes. Well, who can't resist puppy-dog eyes, right? |
((No worries. I'm completely fine with it! The timing is perfect too, haha.))

| Cookie was in the perfect mood for a ride on her Pegasus. She made her way to the stable at the end where her jet-black stallion was kept. Skipping towards the stables from the back, she neared enough just to hear a girl's question - 'Are unicorns real?'
Interested to hear the bizarre conversation, she continued towards the voices and rounded the corner to see a trio of demigods gathered. "Oh hello." She said randomly.
